Gayle King was moved by the emotion when former President Trump spoke at the Republican National Convention on Monday.

King watched Trump’s speech after he was formally nominated as the GOP’s 2024 presidential nominee.

King implied that she was moved by Trump’s speech.

“I was watching it at home… I felt the emotion, sitting in my bedroom, coming through the TV screen,” she said on “CBS Mornings” on Tuesday.

Trump spoke at the convention in Milwaukee just 2 days after his near-death experience at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The 78-year-old president was shot and wounded by a 20-year-old loner armed with an AR-15. A sniper killed the gunman.

Trump wore a bandage on his right ear as he spoke at the convention. His supporters cheered and chanted “Fight! Fight! Fight!” — the words Trump mouthed after he was shot.

Millions watching on national television were also moved by the divine intervention that saved Trump’s life.

Young Thug’s only chance to get out of jail on bond just flew out the window.

Fulton County Judge Shukura L. Ingram recused herself from the YSL Rico trial on Wednesday.

Her recusal comes after Judge Ural Glanville was removed from the trial for holding a secret meeting with a key witness.

Crime and public safety reporter Jozsef Papp announced Judge Ingram’s recusal on X/Twitter on Wednesday.

Papp wrote: “Judge Shukura Ingram has recused from the YSL/Young Thug case over the incident involving Christian Eppinger and a courthouse deputy.

Ingram said the deputy arrested was responsible and assigned to her courtroom for six months.”

The tweet refers to YSL defendant Chris Eppinger whose case was severed from the other YSL defendants and moved to Judge Ingram’s courtroom.

A female deputy assigned to the YSL trial was arrested after authorities seized her laptop and discovered love letters to Eppinger. The deputy was charged with having an inappropriate romantic relationship with an inmate.

Judge Ingram recused herself from Young Thug’s trial because the deputy was assigned to her courtroom for six months.

According to Papp, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker has been assigned to handle Young Thug’s YSL RICO case.

Whitaker is a former Fulton County prosecutor, who has been a judge in Fulton County since 2017.

What this means is there’s no chance that Young Thug will get out of jail on bond. He has been in jail since his arrest in May 2022.

Fantasia and Busta Rhymes are the most recent artists from the older generation to call out young concertgoers for being on their cell phones.

Fantasia, 40, chastised her young fans for being on their phones during her concert at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheater in Detroit on July 12.

“So I wanna tell you now we’re living in a world where y’all can’t have fun because you’ve been too busy trying to film stuff,” the American Idol winner told the crowd. “So wack now.”

She continued:

“And we as performers, we be up here working and y’all [gestures holding up phone]. You know the money that you pay in here tonight you could’ve done something else with it. So if you paid the money, you might as well get your [money’s worth].”

Rap legend Busta Rhymes also called out his fans for being rude and holding up their phones during his show.

“Ayo, forget them camera phones,” he told the crowd at the Essence Festival. “Let’s get back to interacting like humans. Put those weird devices down! I ain’t from that era. Forget your phone!”

Busta, 52, and Fantasia are from the era of polite appreciation of performers.
Back in the day fans bought concert tickets to watch artists perform.

Nowadays concertgoers spend most of the show texting or recording on their phones.

Comedian Dave Chapelle, 50, bans all cell phones at his shows for that reason.

Meagan Good and co-star Cory Hardrict bonded over their divorces on the set of Tyler Perry’s “Divorce in the Black.”

In an interview with PEOPLE in this week’s issue, Meagan explains how she and Cory cried together and bonded off-screen.

“I want to be respectful to whatever it is Cory would or wouldn’t share. What I will say is in that moment when he was getting a divorce, I talked to him and I said to him, ‘I know it’s really, really hard and it’s one of the most painful things you’ll ever experience.’ ”

She continued:

“They say in clinical studies divorce is the second most traumatic thing, pain-wise, outside of death because a divorce is like a death. So I knew exactly where he was. I saw him that day and I just hugged him and I held him, and we cried together.”

Meagan says she told Cory, “My heart hurts for you.”

The “Eve’s Bayou” actress used her personal divorce experience to encourage Cory to move on.

“At that point I was already a year down the line and I was like: ‘Look, I’m still working through it, but what I can tell you is it gets better. This is your second act of life, and it is going to be as you choose it. Even though you’re hurt and you’re going through it — and I’m sure Tia’s hurt and she’s going through it — ultimately you have to choose and say, ‘This is where we are right now. This is what’s happening, and I’m going to accept that this is my second act in life and I’m going to make it wonderful.'”

Music producer Irv Gotti has been sued by a Florida woman who alleges he sexually assaulted her in Miami, Saint Martin and Atlanta.

Gotti, real name Irving Lorenzo Jr., is named in a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade on July 11, the Miami New Times reports.

The woman, identified in court papers as “Jane Doe,” claims Gotti assaulted and abused her on several occasions from 2020 to 2022.

“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward. These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day.”

The woman alleges that she and Gotti met through a mutual friend at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020. Gotti flew her to Saint Martin for an all-expenses paid vacation.

But Doe claims the 54-year-old producer forced her to have sex with him, threatening to send her home if she didn’t.

“Due to his power and influence in the music world, she complied,” the lawsuit stated.

After the trip to Saint Martin, the woman and Gotti began dating, according to the lawsuit.

The suit claims that during their two-year relationship, she “suffered constant abuse” at the hands of the rap mogul, who demanded that she perform unwanted sexual acts and berated her.

She said Gotti flew her to Miami in January 2022. They stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, where he forced her to perform oral sex on him in the elevator.

A similar incident occurred in Atlanta that summer. He allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him in an Uber.

Their relationship ended after that incident.

The lawsuit also alleges that Gotti has slandered the woman to his “vast social network in and around Los Angeles.”

Gotti co-founded Murder Inc. Records, home to hip-hop artists Ja Rule, Ashanti, Charli Baltimore, Lloyd, and Cadillac Tah, among others.

The Celtics star seemed to criticize Bronny’s basketball skills in a viral video. “Honestly, I don’t think Bronny is a pro,” he told Gondrezick.

Gondrezick agreed, saying, “I think he’ll be on the G League team for sure.”

As the video went viral overnight, Brown addressed the controversy on Tuesday morning.

“It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the nba it reflects greatness and longevity !Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth,” he tweeted on X.

The Lakers selected Bronny with the 55th pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. Lakers fans and sports analysts criticized the decision.

Lakers coach JJ Redick downplayed Bronny’s poor showing in the Summer League.

“He’s a development player. That’s how we’re looking at Bronny. He’s certainly going to spend time with the Lakers. He will spend time as well in the G League,” Redick said.

Redick added that Bronny was “an important part” of his “development program.”

“We’re going to develop his shot. We’ll develop his ball skills,” Redick continued. “He’s already got a great feel. He has a really instinctive nature on the defensive end.”
