Debmar-Mercury

The end of an era: "The Wendy Williams Show" will officially come to an end in June due to host Wendy Williams' prolonged health-related issues.

The cancellation was announced by the show's producer and distributor Debmar-Mercury on Tuesday.

"Since Wendy is still not available to host the show as she continues on her road to recovery, we believe it is best for our fans, stations and advertising partners to start making this transition now," company co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said in a statement.

"We hope to be able to work with Wendy again in the future, and continue to wish her a speedy and full recovery," Marcus and Bernstein said. They also expressed their "great love and affinity for Wendy".

Wendy's show will be replaced in the fall with a new daytime talk show hosted by comedienne/actress Sherri Shepherd. The new show, titled "Sherri", will also be produced by Debmar-Mercury.

The Sherri show will take over the Fox Network time slot held by The Wendy Williams Show since 2008.

News of the cancellation was first reported by lovebscott.com on Sunday, Feb. 20 — days after Wendy uploaded a video to her newly launched Instagram page.

In the video, Wendy appeared to be lucid, alert and oriented. Despite reports that she was "incapacitated," Wendy appeared to be of sound mind and body. But business is business, and Wendy had been out of work since last July.

According to Scott, Wendy created the new IG account because the @WendyShow Instagram account was no longer under her control.

As lovebscott.com previously reported, Wendy Show execs have been trying to end her show and find a suitable replacement for several years now — but to no avail.

Our production sources tell us that Wendy has been 'checked out' for quite some time and had become increasingly difficult to work with prior to her medical leave.

"[Wendy] had become somewhat unbearable, having tantrums and throwing things at people. Basically, the consensus among the crew is that she didn't wanna be there anymore. Her illnesses may have exacerbated that feeling."

Despite Wendy's numerous absences, Debmar-Mercury renewed her show last year after their planned replacement, 'The Jerry O'Connell Show,' fell through due to awful ratings.

Angela Simmons is not joining the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta in season 14. Blogger B. Scott sparked rumors when he said Rev. Run's daughter was spotted on set filming for season 14.

B. Scott said Angela and singer Ne-Yo's ex-fiancée, Monyetta Shaw (right) were filming with the cast. Unlike most messy bloggers, B. Scott's tea is usually piping hot and accurate.

However, sources from the Bravo production team tell TMZ that Angela is not joining the cast. Angela is friends with a few other Real Housewives cast members including Marlo Hampton.

Angela has a minor son to raise and she has business ventures that require her attention.

Season 14 will include old timers Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Sheree Whitfield, and Marlo Hampton. Sanya Richards-Ross, a former track and field star, has also been added to the lineup.

As for rumors that NeNe Leakes will make a surprise comeback, creator Andy Cohen is adamant she will not return.

He said, during an appearance on "The Real" last month:

"You know, we are in the midst of shooting season 14 of the Atlanta housewives, and it's great and Marlo has her peach and Shereé is back, and we have some new faces and some great faces and Kenya Moore is on fire, and so I am really focused right now on season 14 of the housewives of Atlanta and not really looking beyond that right now."

NeNe Leakes denies being an unemployed reality TV star without a team.

The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star denied a report by blogger Love B Scott that she was dumped by her entire team because she was exceedingly difficult to work with.

"For all of you that are asking, emailing, in boxing, blogging, reporting etc. The ONLY statement i have... My team DID NOT let me go! No further statements at this time," she tweeted on Tuesday.

On Monday, Scott reported that NeNe, 53, was no longer represented by manager Steven Grossman, nor was she repped by ICM talent agency, and she was also dumped by her attorney Darrell Miller.

The report suggested that NeNe was being blacklisted after she took on Bravo Network for firing her last year. She also called Andy Cohen a racist.

On Monday, NeNe referenced both Grossman and Miller in a since-deleted-tweet.

"You can't turn on your teammate and get away with this @stevengrossman #DarrellMiller #Foxrothschild," she wrote. "Suppression, retaliation, discrimination, unequal pay, devaluation against black women is real, it’s painful and it hurts. I will fight for all women rights PS: FIX IT."

Since being booted from RHOA, NeNe accused Bravo of discriminating against black women. She also accused Cohen of being racist. And in December, she urged her followers to boycott the network.

She claimed former co-star Porsha Williams is aware of the unfair treatment of women, but won't speak up because she feared "losing her check."

"I have numerous emails, text messages, RHOA group text, voice recording that go back yearsssss," NeNe tweeted. "I never got rid of anything! Fix your dirty work. Being a racist is so yesterday."

Usher and B. Scott

Earlier I told you that many down low rappers and singers would be outed in 2015. The outings are part of a collective effort to promote awareness of HIV in the black community.

Anyway, sometime last week someone leaked screen shots from Usher and Tameka Raymond's infamous sex video that was being shopped around to the blogs (except for this blog, unfortunately).

B. Scott sues BET Network

Hopefully transgender blogger B. Scott didn't pre-order that new Mercedes Benz (or any other luxury vehicle). It looks like he will not be coming into millions of dollars from that anti-discrimination lawsuit he filed against BET Network.

Gossip tabloid TMZ reports Scott lost his lawsuit today.

BET hired Scott as a fashion reporter during the 2013 BET Awards last summer. But after Scott showed up tardy for his hosting gig, BET's Stephen Hill reportedly ordered Scott to change into attire more suitable for a masculine male host.

In a post published on his blog, Scott said he was “disheartened” by BET’s attempts to tone down his flamboyant personality.

B. Scott sues BET Network

Androgynous celebrity blogger B. Scott appeared on MSNBC where he explained why he is filing a lawsuit against BET for forcing him to dress like a man.

Scott, who is openly gay and prefers to wear ladies attire, was hired by BET as a red carpet correspondent for the 2013 BET pre-awards show in June.

B. Scott said:

It’s really sad that people have to go through something like this in 2013 when we’ve seen all different types of personalities. I’m not the first of my kind. There has been Michael Jackson, Prince, Grace Jones and the list goes on. So this is really shocking to me.”

B. Scott sues BET Network

BET Network will probably never hire celebrity blogger B. Scott to host another red carpet event. The flamboyant, openly gay blogger and media personality slapped the entertainment network with a lawsuit for forcing him to wear men's clothing.

How dare BET demand that a contract employee dress appropriately on their set?

B Scott

Openly gay celebrity blogger B. Scott is still fuming after being kicked off the BET Awards red carpet for dressing like a woman.

In a post on his blog, Scott said BET asked him to be the fashion correspondent for the Style Stage during the "106 and Park" Pre-Show as part of the 2013 BET Awards live telecast on Sunday. But Scott said the organizers objected to his feminine attire and "physically" dragged him off the red carpet forcing him to change out of his Prada pumps into more manly shoes.

BET apologized on Monday, but Scott, who runs the popular Love B. Scott blog, rejected the "half hearted" apology.

"I want a real apology from BET. This was a not a mutual misunderstanding or miscommunication. I pride myself on being very professional," he said in an interview Tuesday.

Poor Mariah Carey. Her latest album flopped miserably on the charts bowing at #3 with a meager 173k units sold. Yes, that is the faaa-bulous B. Scott of Love B. Scott blog on the right with a head full of luxurious weave!

Island/IDJ’s Mariah Carey bowed at #3 with 173k, many were surprised the album didn’t generate a far bigger number given its two successful radio tracks and Carey’s TV blitzkrieg, leaving the pundits to ponder where the disconnect is. But will these hit singles and heavy spins enable the album to build momentum as the holidays approach? That question leads to another: which of the above releases will have the legs to carry them through the next three months?… Source
