Blogger Jason Lee has apologized for reporting that England's Queen Elizabeth II was dead.

Lee, who runs Hollywood Unlocked Instagram blog, published an apology after deleting his posts about the Queen.

"Although I've never been wrong when breaking a story, because this involves The Queen, this is one time I would want to be. And based on Wednesday's report from the Palace, I can say my sources got this wrong and I sincerely apologize to The Queen and the Royal Family."

Lee apologized after Buckingham Palace announced the Queen, 95, had spoken with Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson in a weekly phone call on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

After becoming the laughing stock of Instagram, Lee doubled down, insisting he trusted his source.

However, Lee's "source" turned out to be a fan of the late Mark Lanegan, a member of Queens of Stone Age grunge band, who died on Feb. 22, at age 57. No cause of death was announced.

Lanagan's death was announced on social media, an hour before Lee posted his click-bait post about the British Monarch.

Lee claimed his "trusted source" told him the Queen had died after she failed to show up at a wedding. However, the Queen was not on the guest list and she did not know the bride or groom.

The triple vaccinated Queen tested positive for COVID, and was experiencing mild flu-like symptoms. She canceled virtual meetings while recovering at Windsor Castle.

Lionel Richie, who turns 72 on June 20, is dating a much younger woman, Lisa Parigi, the owner of lifestyle blog, Dream Design Discover.

Tongues were wagging when an internet user shared an image of Richie cuddling with Parigi. The user captioned the image: "Richie with his new Bae, he's 71 and she's 30, love wins."

Parigi is not exactly "new" -- the couple dated for 5 years before their relationship went public.

According to Heavy.com, Parigi, who grew up in Switzerland, is mixed race (Swiss, Caribbean and Chinese). She speaks four languages: German, French, Schwiizertüütsch (Swiss German) and English.

The couple appear to be smitten with each other. Wealthy men like Richie prefer exotic (foreign-born) women because they're submissive, obedient and mind their manners.

Richie is twice divorced and has three children, socialite daughter Sofia Richie, 22, son Miles Richie, 26, and he adopted actress Nicole Richie at age nine.

His fans were shocked to hear that Richie is dating a woman young enough to be his grandchild.

Thanks to plastic surgery and Bigen hair dye, Richie doesn't look a day over 60.

After they went viral, Parigi took to social media to check messy trolls who trash talk about her man's age.

The title of the post is "Spending Valentine's Day Solo." The subtitle reads: "We're never alone when we're connecting with ourselves."

Halle urged her readers to love themselves and avoid the pressure of being in a relationship on Valentine's Day.

As Michael Reid, also known as the poet JustMike, said, "You're single because you know your worth and won't take anything less than what you deserve."

Make Valentine's Day the day you put yourself and your needs first. Self-love is one of the most powerful tools we have. It isn’t just a simple state of mind when you’re feeling good, but rather a feeling of appreciation for yourself that grows over time. While self-care is one aspect of self-love, it also stems from living intentionally, protecting your energy, and setting boundaries, both in your platonic and romantic relationships.

Last week, Halle, who has been divorced three times, responded to Instagram users who insisted she can't keep a man.

When an Instagram user suggested she "had some trouble with men", she fired back: "Nope, they had trouble with me".

B. Scott sues BET Network

Androgynous celebrity blogger B. Scott appeared on MSNBC where he explained why he is filing a lawsuit against BET for forcing him to dress like a man.

Scott, who is openly gay and prefers to wear ladies attire, was hired by BET as a red carpet correspondent for the 2013 BET pre-awards show in June.

B. Scott said:

It’s really sad that people have to go through something like this in 2013 when we’ve seen all different types of personalities. I’m not the first of my kind. There has been Michael Jackson, Prince, Grace Jones and the list goes on. So this is really shocking to me.”

B Scott

Openly gay celebrity blogger B. Scott is still fuming after being kicked off the BET Awards red carpet for dressing like a woman.

In a post on his blog, Scott said BET asked him to be the fashion correspondent for the Style Stage during the "106 and Park" Pre-Show as part of the 2013 BET Awards live telecast on Sunday. But Scott said the organizers objected to his feminine attire and "physically" dragged him off the red carpet forcing him to change out of his Prada pumps into more manly shoes.

BET apologized on Monday, but Scott, who runs the popular Love B. Scott blog, rejected the "half hearted" apology.

"I want a real apology from BET. This was a not a mutual misunderstanding or miscommunication. I pride myself on being very professional," he said in an interview Tuesday.
