ABC's rap drama "Queens" showed so much promise after hip-hop stars Brandy Norwood and Eve signed on in 2021.

"Power" star Naturi Naughton completed the dream team. Then Eve announced her pregnancy and took a break from filming, though she did appear in the series finale.

Their efforts weren't rewarded. "Queens" only managed to draw 1 million viewers and a 0.2 in the all-important 18-49 age demo.

ABC announced the series was canceled last week.

"Queens" centered around four middle aged hip-hop stars struggling to recapture their fame in their 40s after reuniting '90s group the Nasty Bitches.

Twitter users reacted to the cancellation over the weekend.

One user wrote: "Bummer!! Wanted to see where it would go next!! #QueensABC..."

While another tweeted: "#QueensABC was not cancelled because it was bad, it was cancelled because the pacing of the show was break neck speed. It made it so hard to watch."

A third person wrote: "Well this is the worst news I got today. #queens #queensabc."

Actress Naturi Naughton is off the market. The "Power" star married fiancé Xavier Lewis in an intimate ceremony over the weekend.

The wedding was held at the 5-star St Regis Hotel in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Ga. over the weekend.

According to TalkingwithTami.com, singer/Pastor Montell Jordan officiated the wedding.

They were introduced in 2019 through her former Power cast mate Omari Hardwick who also served as Xavier's best man.

This is the first marriage for Naturi, 37, who is mom to 4-year-old daughter Zuri.

Naturi is best known as one-third of the R&B group 3LW. Her bridesmaids included Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Shamea Morton, former Power castmate LaLa Anthony, and radio personality Angela Yee.

Singer Tevin Campbell also performed at the reception.

Remember when a sighting of Beyonce and Jay Z caused pandemonium in the streets? Those days are over. Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted in Venice on Saturday, October 16, and no one even looked in their direction. Beyonce, 40, and Jay Z, 51, were in Italy to attend a friend's wedding.

50 Cent fired back at claims he bullied Power co-star Naturi Naughton's appearance on social media. According to The Blast, the 44-year-old troll reposted a side-by-side meme of Naughton next to Goro from Mortal Kombat. He wrote, "who the f—k did this, POWER is #1."

Naturi took offense to the meme and she responded to the rapper, whose Instagram account was shuttered after multiple complaints by users who say he is mentally abusive.

"Did we have a fight and I not know about it? So confused," she wrote. Naturi added:

"There's so much I wanna say but... You don't even have an Instagram account so... why waste my characters or come out of my CHARACTER! But do pick up a copy of my upcoming book: #whatNOTtoDoWhenYoureABoss ????? #ImNotACharacter #IAmARealPerson #IAmAWoman #IAmABlackWoman."

Loose Change responded to a fan who defended him against allegations that he bullied Naturi. "I thought u was sticking up for her or did I read wrong" the fan wrote. To which 5 Dimes replied, "I was sticking up for her, they just went and made some sh-t up."

Small Change is on his last leg on Twitter.com as well. My sources say he has already been warned to tone down his harassing tweets on the micromanaging platform.

Newly single mom LaLa Anthony and Empire star Jussie Smollet attended AT&T & Tribeca's launch of Untold Stories: An Inclusive Film Program at Thalassa on Tuesday, April 18, in New York City. As you know, LaLa is in the news lately because she moved out on her husband, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, who allegedly sired a baby with a stripper. Carmelo is under a lot of pressure these days, since the NY Knicks head coach Phil Jackson practically told him to seek another place of employment. Hopefully 'Melo will sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
