Obama skeet shooting

As you know, President Obama has been pushing for tougher laws on assault rifles and high capacity magazines ever since the Sandy Hook school shooting in Connecticut.

Earlier this month, Obama signed an Executive order allowing sweeping new gun control measures to go into effect immediately. He also called for Congress to get off their butts and renew Clinton's ban on assault rifles.

In an interview with New Republic magazine, President Obama was asked if he has ever fired a gun. Pumped with a healthy dose of swagger, Obama answered: "Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time."

His statement drew swift responses from fellow lawmakers, the NRA, and others who have never seen Obama lift anything resembling a gun.

Obama signs gun control measures

Using his powers of the presidential executive order, President Obama signed sweeping new gun control measures into law today.

Looking very presidential, Mr. Obama remembered the most innocent victims of gun violence -- the 20 Sandy Hook Elementary students who were gunned down by a crazed gunman wielding an assault rifle last month.

“We can't put this off any longer,” Obama said. He urged Congress to approve measures requiring universal background checks on gun buyers, and banning assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips.

Does anyone notice how U.S. president Barack Obama always does his shady deeds in the dead of night while he thinks we're sleeping?

If you have of that Kool Aid left over, you might want to take a drink to keep from gagging as you read on.

Last Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, Obama signed an executive order giving complete authority to British police force Interpol to crack heads arrest U.S. citizens on U.S. soil without any intervention from our police or even the FBI!

Additionally, if you are arrested by Interpol, you have no recourse, no rights to an attorney and no right to even see the charges against you -- thanks to Obama.

By signing the order, Obama removed any safeguards put in place by former president Ronald Reagan to insure that Interpol did not violate our rights or the Constitution!

Andy McCarthy at National Review asks these crucial, sobering questions of the secretive Obama order:

Why would we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files which, therefore, will be beyond the ability of Congress, American law-enforcement, the media, and the American people to scrutinize?

Why would Obama sign an order effectively turning the U.S. into a police state. It could be that Obama doesn't think the FBI or our local police will roll over on their fellow Americans when the New World Order becomes reality -- but an international police force will.

The Examiner's Anthony G. Martin thinks he knows the chilling answer:

At least one answer to these questions is very clear. A coup is underway in the United States of America, the goal of which is to establish complete, unquestioned authority over the citizens--a 'fundamental change' to the United States where citizens have no legal recourse against an authoritarian central government.

The fallout over the House refusal to back Obama's closing of Gitmo continues. For whatever reason (low ratings, etc.) the mainstream media is finally beginning to shine a light on some of Barack Hussein Obama's questionable policy decisions.

Obama's decision to close Gitmo, which he made on his 2nd day in office, stands out as the one decision that should have raised all sorts of red flags for Americans. Simply because it exposed Obama's true agenda, and revealed who he owed his allegiance to.

Read the following excerpt from TheAtlantic.com's post titled "A setback of his own." This excerpt mirrors everything I have been saying about Obama kissing up to terrorists from day 1! Some of you laughed it off because all you could see was the color of Obama's skin:

But the President, and his senior advisers, bear at least some responsibility for the grand gesture of promising to shut down Guantanamo Bay within a year well before the administration had begun to review the casebooks and intelligence reports about the 240 odd detainees in United States custody. The shrewdness of Obama's executive order on day two cannot be denied, nor can its targeted audience - European and Arab governments, and the broader world - be ignored in the current debate. Gitmo was a "rallying cry" for Al Qaeda - that line's for public consumption - and for anti-Americanism abroad, for European smugness, for exasperation with America by Moslems everywhere. Obama -- who has never run a lemonade stand much less a government -- came into office with a full blown superiority complex, making dangerous ill-informed decisions that put this country's national security at risk. He ran roughshod over the Defense Dept., and the CIA without nary a working plan in place to implement his wacky agenda. A white president making the same parallel gov. moves Obama has made would have been run out of Washington by now.

Against the advice of the CIA and others within the intelligence community, the Obama administration has released heretofore classified CIA documents detailing interrogation techniques that were used on 9/11 terrorists.

Does Barack Obama think releasing classified documents of secret military techniques will benefit us in some way? Especially since the military field manual on interrogation techniques is readily available online -- and has been downloaded and put into practice by al qaeda? Obama has now given our enemies more ammunition to use against us!

More Change that we don't need!

From the Wall Street Journal:

Soon after he was sworn in, President Barack Obama signed an executive order that suspended use of these techniques and confined not only the military but all U.S. agencies -- including the CIA -- to the interrogation limits set in the Army Field Manual.

Disclosure of the techniques is likely to be met by faux outrage, and is perfectly packaged for media consumption. It will also incur the utter contempt of our enemies. Somehow, it seems unlikely that the people who beheaded Nicholas Berg and Daniel Pearl, and have tortured and slain other American captives, are likely to be shamed into giving up violence by the news that the U.S. will no longer interrupt the sleep cycle of captured terrorists even to help elicit intelligence that could save the lives of its citizens. Comments Off on Video: Ron Paul Speaks On Obama’s Inaugural Speech

Dr. Ron Paul discusses Barack Obama's forgettable Inaugural speech in this video sent to us by MemphisMix.com.

America is drowning in debt, yet in Obama's first 3 days as president, he signed an executive order lifting Bush's ban on millions in federal funds to pay for abortions abroad.

In an attempt to pacify conservatives, Obama also signed an EO freezing the salaries of his aides who make over $100,000 a year. A pointless action since very few workers get raises in their first few months on the job anyway.

Obama campaigned on a promise to end the Iraq war, yet last week he ordered drones to fire missiles on villages in Pakistan killing 15 innocent people, including 3 children. (LINK)

Obama and Biden promised change from Bush and Cheney, but all we're getting is more of the same.

Late Friday afternoon POTUS Barack Obama signed an executive order sending hundreds of millions in federal dollars overseas to pay for foreign abortions (LINK).

In case you don't know, an executive order signed by a president does not require the approval of Congress which is troubling to some.

Another troubling aspect of this is the way Obama signed the decree. According to a White House spokesman, Obama signed the executive order late Friday afternoon without any media present, and while no one was paying attention.

I am pro-abortion and I'm all for a woman's right to choose. However, in this time of economic turmoil with Americans losing their homes and jobs, is it prudent for Obama to send millions overseas to pay for foreign abortions?

Maybe someone can answer this question for me: how does spending millions on foreign abortions help to stimulate this economy?
