Yesterday, Beautiful Textures, Pynk Mag and Rich Girl Candy joined together rap mogul T.I. "Tip" Harris to honor entrepreneur and former Xscape lead singer Tameka "Tiny" Harris during The BET Hip Hop Awards Power Brunch at the Oceanaire Seafood Room in Atlanta. The successful event was marketed by Atlanta's own Nicole Garner, owner and founder of The Garner Circle Public Relations firm.

Outrage As Giant M&M Substituted for Peach Drop

Atlantans are outraged that the New Year's Peach Drop organizers have apparently sold out to a corporate sponsor.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution published this photo in today's online edition notifying "holiday purists" that the iconic peach has been replaced by a gigantic yellow M&M candy.

Patti Webster diesOne of entertainment’s most influential and respected publicists, Patti Webster, died this morning, has confirmed.

Although a cause of death has not been released, friends say Webster died this morning following a prolonged illness.

As one of the industry's top publicists, Webster contributed to the careers of celebrities such as R&B crooner Usher and actress Halle Berry.

Ms. Webster was the founder of the prestigious publicity firm W&W PR.

Amanda Berry Gina DeJesus Michelle Knight

Three Ohio women who were snatched off the streets as teenagers 10 years ago thanked their supporters in a video released Monday.

Amanda Berry, 27, Gina DeJesus, 23, and Michelle Knight, 32, were kidnapped as teenagers and held for over 10 years in the dungeon of Cleveland school bus driver Ariel Castro, 52.

The three and a half minute video was posted to YouTube on Monday by a public relations firm, according to UK's Daily Mail. In the video, Berry, DeJesus and Knight thanked their supporters for giving them privacy after the girls were rescued on May 6. Berry had a daughter, now 6, while in captivity.

"First and foremost, I want everyone to understand how happy I am to be home with my family and my friends," Berry said. "It's been unbelievable. I'm getting stronger each day and having my privacy has helped immensely. I ask that everyone continues to respect our privacy and give us to time have a normal life."
