Congratulations to Phillana and Frase!

In 2006, Ciara‘s manager Phillana Williams and her husband Frase lost their newborn baby daughter. The baby girl was born almost 3 months prematurely. Yet, for over a month, she bravely struggled to live. Her fight for life was chronicled by her mom in an email that was sent out to friends.

That email, which I still have, was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking I have ever read. I am happy to say that Phillana and Frase, a music producer, are pregnant again! Congratulations to them. They are a great example of an entertainment industry marriage that works.

Sandra is there anyway I can get that for my sister…she lost her 5 year old back in august last year and her (cameron)birthday is Jan 31…she would have been six. My sister is really struggling and has not excepted the fact that she is gone. I talked to her for hours last night trying to calm her down but nothing is working. She says she doesn’t have a reason to live anymore. Do you think that Phillana Williams could possible okay you sending it to her.

It’s a tragedy to go so such heartbreak as losing a child. I’m so glad God blessed them again. What i love the most about this post is that it says…”example of an entertainment industry couple that works”!!! Wooo hooo there don’t seem to be many so when I see one AND they are African American it makes me happy. I pray for them.

Hello Phillana,

Sandra I knew Phillana from her Houston days and how she got started in the entertainment industry. She is such a strong determine women. Phillana this is “Tisha” your cousin Alex ex-girlfriend from Houston. The girlfriend that shared your uncles house with him in Sugarland LOL! Phillana I know your remember those crazy times. I am now married living in Dallas with a son. Sandra I know in my heart that “GOD will bless Phillana and her husband with a healthy and happy baby. I have never experienced the lost of a child. But I have experienced having a premature baby and the challenges one face with having a premature baby. My son is now 19 months and doing well.

Sandra if you would please pass my note on to Philland and email address I would appreciate it so much. We loose touch with each other once she move to ATL to work for LaFace Records. Tell her not to worry because the bible says that “before you were ever formed in your mother’s womb, I saw and approved you (Jeremiah 1:5).

Prayer for Phillana & Frase and the New healthy baby:
Dear Father, thank You for filling there life with Joy.
Thank You that they are blessed and cannot be cursed.
Thank You that in all things you cause them to triumph.

Finally Sandra! I guess you CAN applaud black people having babies WITHIN A MARRIAGE! This is so much better than thug-ass TI or Monica! Congrats to them, and I pray this pregnancy goes smoothly for mommy and baby.

This made me so sad. I’m pregnant myself and I can’t IMAGINE losing my baby. Hell I can’t imagine even losing my 5 year old. God is really good. I am glad that they are pregnant again. Best wishes to them!

I lost my baby in 2006 as well (December). I applaud her for having the courage to persue motherhood again. It’s a hard decision to make. The fear of going thru that again is sometimes unbearable.

I also knew Phillana from Univ. of Houston. I too want to congratulate her and her husband on giving parenting a 2nd try.
