Janet Jackson gets her grown woman on with the April ‘08 issue of Ebony magazine. We are definitely feeling the more age appropriate look for Janet. After 22 years, it’s time to grow up. And since JJ feels she has nothing more to prove, does this mean she will retire if Discipline flops?

Something about that cover looks off.
I don’t think Discipline will flop. I’ve been listening to it all week. It’s a pretty solid album.
I would so much rather talk about the pole dancing craze. It seems to go along with everything else.
i don’t like the cover nor do i hate it just looks like Janet and the Jackson’s famous nose job has finally caught up with her.

alot of make-up and photoshop or something! oh well…the power or print. but anyway just like the other photo, she still has on a tank top and funky jewlery. it’s just that this is not a full body shot picture. let her dress like she wants. i can’t see janet dressing like an old maid, it aint her stilo.

It’s a shame ageism is very much alive here in America. In case anyone was wondering why celebs lie about their age, they are afraid of this type of ignorance, of people wanting to put them out to pasture. Now why the **** should she retire if she’s still bringing it? And the only people denying she’s still bringing it are beyonce fans who are in her ass like a hemmroid! Janet is still beautiful, still just as creative, still can dance her ass off, so why would anyone even question that. It’s because our society discriminates by age, and extremely critical and judgemental for no ****ing reason at all. It just makes no sense. Now the children may have a bit of an excuse in this department because of their youth, but to you old ass ****es on here questioning her, what’s your excuse? I’m guessing just a good old fashioned case of JEALOUSY. Especially black women; jealousy is an epidemic among black women.
