This is supposedly the official video for Kanye West‘s “Flashing Lights” off his Graduation CD. But I don’t know. It does look like that’s Kanye tied up and gagged in the trunk before the video chick puts the shovel to his private parts.
Oh, I should mention this vid may not be work safe – depending on where you work.

It was a little…. I dont know…. I guess i expected more flashing lights, considering. But why did she strip down & then injury him? I’m so lost, I feel like I caught it in the middle & missed the whole damn plot

I love this song I have the ringtone & all that so i was so expecting him to be over top of a city skyline or something with alot of lights, hence the title!! this was not at all what I expected, but leave it to Kanye to do something different I hope that wasn’t all of it, couldn’t be!! I just got to know why girlfriend hit him up with the shovel & how the hell did she get that long ass shovel in that lil ass trunk? ok i see I’m forced to sit through 106&Park tonite!!!

Unfortunately, this small clip is the whole video..I went to rocafella.com to see it and they are playing this same clip..I hope I’m wrong because I’m loving the video and I would like to see more..but with Kanye you never know..I’m watching BET and I haven’t seen anything so far..

That video is too graphic. We thought it was about the nakedness until we saw Kanye butchered. I hate videos like these. They always mimick real like. Remember Biggie and Life after Death?
BTW, I sent Kanye and e-mail to ask if this is gonna be the “official video.” No one will air this!!! Now I don’t want to see a snow shovel again. It snows every single day here in Toronto! I showed it to staff in our newsroom and they were all SHOCKED!
