Kanye’s Fiancee ‘Sad’ Over Split

You might notice that I don’t always post the same stories that other blogs post. That’s because 9 times out of 10 I just don’t care. Coons like Kanye West especially gets no love from me unless he just put an album out (I love his music).
I realize some of you do care about the breakup of the bisexual and his beard Alexis Phifer. So here you go:
- Rapper Kanye West and his fiancée of a year and a half, designer Alexis Phifer have broken off their engagement, Phifer confirms to PEOPLE.
“It’s always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends,” Phifer tells PEOPLE. “I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.”
Phifer was spotted on the red carpet sans her engagement ring at an “Evening in Vogue” event on Thursday night in New York, where her clothing line, Ghita, was featured.
“They’d been having problems,” a pal of West’s says. “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”

They were a really HOT couple to me. It’s sad they had to split but Yeezy is focused. Plus he went through losing his mother…Alexis needs to chil for a bit and just be a friend.
Please believe he is going to get hit up by other women now. They prob already sending the smoke signals and birds across the oceans.

How is he a coon? Anyway,they will be back together I think.Kanye just lost his mom and I’m sure he’s still grieving and he’s working alot.I think he really loves her hopefully they’ll work it out over time.
Oh and Sandra Kanye is not gay just eccentric in his choice of dress. I guess to be str8 you have to have a duffle bag and gucci shoes.
Sad but they will bounce back. If it’s meant to be, it will come back….if it doesn’t come back, it wasn’t for you in the first place.
Now, I might be confused but help me here. So the rumors about them already being married was just that, or did they have a spiritual ceremony and then call off the real wedding?

I agree with the other majority posts. I think the death of his mother and touring has put alot of stain on the relationship.
They may need a “break” to bring them back together again..
Will she have to give up he A-list status/card? This one is new to me. Perhaps they just need some space. With some collabo from him, I thought her clothing line was on the rise.

Well, now that Kanye’s mom is gone I guess he can come on out. I wish he’d hurry up and shock the rap world. Of course, he was only with this average looking bbbboring woman for his mom’s sake. I do feel bad for her though. She seems like a very sweet lady.

Not a Kayne fan. I found him to be arrogent and a sore loser. With that said I found that Alexis complemented him, tamed him and she was there for him with the loss of his mother. A man does not forget that. I think they are just having a time out. I do wish them the best.

Just like Kim Porter is “broken up” with Diddy but she’s all over the place with him. Couples like this don’t break up…they just take a break from each other and run back to each other’s arms.

(He had always been full of himself, but now you can’t really tell him anything — he feels he is at the top and the humble factor isn’t there) At least when he did the mixtapes and Through the Wire he was HUNGRY now he knows he has a HUGE fanbase and it has gone to his head. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Kanye. I would go on his site purchase the mixtapes, t-shirts and whenever he was in NY … I was there! With the success he HAS changed, as most artist naturally do. Whether the change was good or bad is up for discussion. Losing his MOM who he appeared to be close with has to be tough and if the relaitonship is healthy for him right now maybe the break is good … either way both of themn will be alright w/ or w/out each other. Alexis seems focused and determined and her line is nice. He is successul already and using music and performing as an outlet. Sometimes being alone is better then being with someone and dealing with drama/issues.

Alexis is very pretty, but I never saw much of a personality with her..she always took a backseat to Kanye’s over the top behind..it was probably what attracted him to her..but what was also what attributed to their demise

Kanye’s sexual orientation is definitely questionable and it doesn’t have anything to do with his style. Most of the guys in his crew are questionable as well.
Kanye will never have good luck with women, nor will he ever be happy. This engagement was and will always be questionable. When they got engaged he and Brooke had literally just broken up. Although he and Alexis dated prior to Brooke, she was the rebound chick at the time.
Brooke is the young lady who works for MTV and she’s a Delta (although she isn’t the girl he rapped about). He wined and dined her, had her on the “Diary”, took her to the Grammy’s and numerous public functions. Kanye was already established as a rapper and producer when they started dating. I wouldn’t be surprised if they start back dating at all. Brooke f’ed up by ranting on her MySpace page about their relationship. She is a ****y beeyotch just like Kanye.
Prior to dating Brooke, he dated Alexis. When he and Alexis first hooked-up he was still dating his long-time girlfriend from Chicago, Sumeke. Sumeke is also a Delta (and the one he rapped about). When he was in the car accident, Sumeke was the one he called. She took their break-up extremely hard. I know there are 2 sides to every story, but she was there when he was broke and struggling.

I agree. She may be average in some states or on some red carpets to some ppl. I think she is pretty and maybe she does not show her ass or show a side that some may want to comment and say she was wrong for wearing that or she was wrong for saying that. She is one of those fabs chicks that a man can feel comfortable with because she was not trying to take away his shine but will always compliment him. Nothing wrong with a mate who knows that they can still remain fab and do not have to be on top.
To sum up what I said. A man needs a woman who makes him look good if not better. Not a tramp, skank or hoe that he thinks makes him look like he has it going on in the bedroom. A true man with or without money wants someone to continue his ” ora of completeness. To really say what I did not say yet. So tired of Ice T and his wife Coco.
I love seeing old pics or new pics of Michelle and her husband I hope our new President Barak. Will continue to share his family with us. When I see old school pics of them and new pics of them with their daughters, that makes a more complete family too me. a man with a cause and a loving man who loves his wife for her just being her. Michelle is Jackie O in the black sense, but is there something wrong with that. Does her skin color make her non loving or non caring or non “stand by your man” because you belive in him, and she is a woman that I will use the word complements her husband” To complement does not mean to kiss ass it means that you accept, adore and understand your man, and accept the power that he has. I am sure that she may accept being ” first lady” but what mom does not want to be a mom with a career and be able to raise her family. Is the Obama family unique, yes, but only because they are black and vying for the “White House”. I don’t care that the races mix but I do know I am one. White mom black dad. I am who I am and to have a black president with a beautiful first lady that is not ghetto, she is educated and Jackie Oish and not jackie hoeish is a plus. Beauty is written all over the face of Michelle and her husband. Sandra, I would love to see more pics of Michelle and Barack. I already know what Bill, Hillary and Chelsea look like.
