Of course they are referring to the nigger who shall not be named on this website. The headline could have read “It’s Still Called “N*****,” but they added that “N****s” at the end. I can’t see as I blame TMZ for their racist headline. Isn’t this what that nigger wanted all along: dialogue?

It’s funny how ppl want respect but have to go so over the top to think they are finally gettng it. He could do so much more good with his talent. (Is he talented, I don’t know any of his songs). My point is take a different route.
Nas is social polictical rapper Im pretty sure he has a reason for naming his album “N” word.
I was listening to the Ryan Cameron Show yesterday on my way home … Ryan stated that Nas decided to go with the title “Nas” because retailers were refusing to put the CD titled “N” in their stores.
Is Nas talented? Nas is one of the best and most successful rappers of all time. I love Nas, he’s a great artist and I’ve been a fan for a long time. I’m looking forward to this new album to see what topics he’s going to bring up.
I just came from the TMZ site….I wonder if they changed the number of letters in the word directly after N*****s, as it is not enough letters to spell that word again….trying to say Negros, maybe? I don’t know…. At any rate, I think Nas could have picked a better title for his music….he’s been around long enough to know better….

Nas is a great artist and he takes risks with his art. Not all his music will be commercially viable but I appreciate that he’s at least tries to rise above the mediocrity.
People celebrate self confessed druggies like Lil Wayne singing about Lollipops but they have a problem with Nas bringing attention to racism. Sad.
I’m glad Nas changed his mind, that mess was just plain coonery whether it was political or not.

Nas is a great artist and whatever his idiotic reasoning for even coming up with that name in the 1st place just goes to show that some of US don’t look at the BIG picture. WE do what we want to do (whether it’s right or wrong) because we don’t care what others think about it or how they will feel.

With the ignorance of the world today, I surely do not agree with having an album called “NI**ER”. Nor do I have or want my 16 yr old son walking around talking about Lollipops or drinking “syrup”. Every ones views on this are going to be different but IMO all of this stuff going on today in hip-hop just gives the white folks more stuff to criticize and hold over us. They will be the 1st ones screaming the lyrics to a song made my son do it. When I think that it all starts at home to begin with.

I’m a Nas fan. Not that I agree with the whole “N*****” thing, but if you listen to the first song that was released it was like a breath of fresh air (compared to all the superficial bull that’s out). Most of his lyrics force us to think. I’m buying the CD either way……………..
