Nick and Mariah’s fake marriage is a bust

They tried to pull the wool over our eyes but we were too smart for them. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s fake wedding is almost over according to a close friend:

“I give the marriage six months, tops,” said a source close to the singer. “I can’t see it lasting.”

The insider claims that the reason behind that gloom-and-doom prediction is Nick’s need to do everything for his diva bride. While Mariah likes being waited on hand and foot, that routine won’t work in the long run.

“Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to — he’s like her puppy,” the insider said. “It seems like Nick spends more time in the stores with Mariah’s credit card than he does with Mariah herself. Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself.” (Source)

The insider didn’t say it but we can guess that Nick and Mariah thought up this sham wedding while the two filmed her video, “Bye, Bye”, 2 months ago.

The publicity stunt failed miserably when mainstream magazines refused to finance the “real” marriage by buying exclusive rights to the pictures.

Mariah’s album E=MC² is also a bust, selling a mere 1 million units in 11 weeks. E=MC² currently sits at #23 and dropping on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
