Usher‘s new album, Here I Stand, debuted at #1 this week as predicted with 445k. The total wasn’t enough to challenge Mariah Carey‘s title for highest sales in the first week for her CD E=MC2, which bowed with 476k in sales back in April. (Source)

i like it too H.B.I.C. i’m on my 2nd go round listening to it. out of 17 songs, i like at least 12 of them…it’s a well put together cd if you ask me.
anyone heard ashanti? i guess i’ll pick that up today. let my cousin tell it, it’s her best cd to date.

Well I spent $4 on 4 songs from itunes. Besides the 2 singles out right now (along with the Bey & Lil Wayne remix), “Gently” is the only other song I was feeling.

Honestly, the album has grown on me. IMO, he was going for a more adult sound. Guess he was trying to get his grown man on and switch up his image. It’s a worthy try cuz I am bumpn it in my vehicle.

I really love this album! I am glad that Usher is finally coming into his “manhood”. This album shows his maturity. He is singing from the aspect of a husband and a father. I bought the album last Tuesday. I’m glad that they were selling it for $9.99.
