Rick Ross responds to fake corrections officer photo
South Florida rappers Rick Ross and Trick Daddy are beefing over an accusation Trick Daddy made that could adversely affect Rick’s career.
According to Trick Daddy, Ross was once a corrections officer in South Florida. Not so says Ross, who claims a photo circulating the Internets of him wearing a corrections uniform is a Photoshopped fake. I believe Rick. The photo looks like his high school picture was Photoshopped on someone else’s body (note the curly hair that doesn’t match Ross’s hair texture).
As you know, rappers rely on their (real or assumed) street cred to sell records. The harder they appear (on paper) the more records they sell — or at least that’s what they believe. So being affiliated with law enforcement in any way is like career suicide to a rapper. Rappers take accusations like that seriously. Trick Daddy might want to watch his back.

I am w/ you on this one SR. I believe Rick< especially if Trick is involved because he is always trying to call soemone fake, or trying to expose them. He tried to discredit Plies a few months back also. I highly doubt Rick Ross was a CO … I just don’t see it at all.
Well I’m sorry to hear that. I was actually proud of him for having earned a respectable living.

I don’t know who to believe on this one. One of my readers from Miami mentioned a while ago that Rick Ross was a corrections oficer and Ryan Cameron just said on V-103 that Rick was a CO during 2002. I know one thing, if it is photoshopped and that photo is from when he was in high school, he looked old as hell in school!!!!!

Girl I vaguely seen that over the 4th weekend. They were running a marathon.
What about the man who had them put piss and sh!t in a bucket and he would crush up lightbulbs and dump it on the CO’s heads…….EVERYDAY!
They would have had to lock me up in the cells with the inmates, b/c it would have went DOWN after that!!!!!

Pulease them damn prison guards are sometimes just as criminal as the convicts. How you think they get their illegal ish in the pen. Guards transport drugs, phones and probably all kinds of illegal ish. They let prisoners fight, set people up etc.
Unfortunately I have a few family members and close friends in prison and have heard plenny ‘a damn stories

Well I can end this because Ricky Ross & I are from the same area…. He was a CO for Florida State Prison. He worked with a cousin of mine. True, he may have taken drugs into the jail, but he was still “a pig.” (no pun intended lol) One thing I didnt know was that he & Trick were beefing. I live in Miami & I have never heard that rumor. Those two are as close as brothers. Lemme do my research & get back to u.

Trick Daddy is full of just what his name says, (Tricks) he must not be making any money because he keeps trying to call somebody out, first Plies, now Rick Ross. I don’t understand our black men, we help justify why they call us crabs. So what if he was a CO (I don’t believe it) but so what, aren’t these guys on the same label. Sad that we as a black culture can’t encourage the next man to make money in a way other than selling drugs, these rappers always trying to take food out of the next man’s family mouth. I’m from and still live in Miami, For a hot minute word has been that Rick Ross was a federal Correctional Officers, that he didn’t even know/or use to hang with the Boobie Boyz just was their correctional officer while they were awaiting trail. Additionally they say them boyz mad cause Ross might have jeopardize their appeals based on his MI YAO (spelled wrong) documentary. The truth will be prevail.
