I heard about these hard thugs giving it up in prison but always assumed it was just talk. Not so according to this prisoner doing hard times. “In prison, botty is more important than food,” he says in an interview with MSNBC.

The WORST part is, some so called “straight” men think it’s not gay to penetrate a man in jail, but not be penetrated.
That’s sickning.. But it’s the truth.
And these dudes who keep going to jail, looks real suspect.
These guys be serving 5, 6, 7 + years and crazy women be standing by their man, up at the prison faithfully every damn weekend, and hoping on the pole soon as he get out.

well i saw this guy along time ago on another show he getting famous up in there, it’s really said , i had a friend who went for along time and he said that the prison code is that if you get poked your gay but if your doing the poking then it’s not considered gay, i guess it makes them feel better to have a way to justify it, it’s gross but i just make sure i won’t do anything to land me somewhere for all those years cuz really i can’t say what i might do. I am a realist. that’s why i stay out of trouble.
This is the number 1 reason I have never dated anybody who has served time in prison. I know they’re not the only men on the downlow, but I’ve heard stories about what “straight” men do in prison.
I tried talking to an ex con once. During the first conversation, he told me that he did what he what he had to do for the 5 yrs he was there, I politely ended the conversation….

If my husband went to jail would it be wrong of me not to wait for him? Winnie Mandella waited for her husband for 27 yrs only for them to later divorce. Also Lyfe Jennings said he was in jail for 10 yrs and when he got out he did not want his girl to touch him. He lacked communication skills. I did not get to view the clip and don’t personally know anyone in jail.

@ anna. That’s hard to answer because it’s such a personal decision. What I do know is that I work with women who are HIV positive and there are so many young black females who are testing positive. And when I say young, I mean 18, 19, and 20 YOUNG. They don’t all contract HIV from men who have been in prison but it’s a story that’s too common.

I have a good friend who’s been locked up since 1995, he tells me he doesn’t get down but he’s very good looking so I have to wonder. Also, he told me he gets tested 3x a year for AIDS..now call me nieve but if you’re not engaging and someone hasn’t shanked your ass..what the hell are you getting tested for???

My cousin is doing Fed time and has stated to me many of times how guys come in straight and next thing you know they are getting the “booty”. Their girlfriends/wives know nothing about this and coming up to see them. He felt almost compelled to tell one girlfriend…..sad.

This video is so sad but on point! I teach high school and I need the full copy of this to show my students. They laugh when we talk to them about the saggin pants. Now they will see that it is true. Plus, our young boys are so feminized with earrings in their ears, long long, braids/dreads and the baggy clothes. They are prime targets in jail for men who want “booty”.

i hate to be rude sista, but you should be ashamed of even considering having a husband who goes to jail and secondly you should be ashame to bring in nelson mandela`s name in situations that have nothing to do with one another, nelson mandela was a well paid doctor who fought for the atrocities black people were going through in their very own land, atrocities caused bu white oppressors

That’s the number reason I don’t even talk to my ex who went to jail for 8 years, he wrote me a letter his 3rd year in saying that he had a man. We weren’t together, and wasn’t I wasn’t waiting and pining for his azz neither, but we wrote to each other from time to time. After that letter, I never wrote to him again. Ewwww…

Y’all act like that stuff only happens in prison, there’s alot of brothas out here on the street that never been to prison that’s gettin’ down like that on the low.
I said it in a previous post. Dudes that don’t mind going to jail like jail and all the vacationing benefits that come with it. Rape is a part of the jail culture but a lot of times it is a power move to strip the man of his dignity. I have been locked up before and I have NOT been a part of any of the sword fighting. They will prey on the weak and those who act overly hard like they have something to prove. If you conduct yourself as a man as someone that happened to land in the bing for some B.S. and just wants to get his **** over with, doesn’t need any extra drama and mind his own business. You can be left alone. Yes most likely you will be tried but if you hold your own meaning letting them know that you don’t want any extra drama but if you have to twist his cap you will. I can’t speak for any man but myself but I had not experienced any of it, I heard about it but not in my area. Also sex is a thing of the mind, it is not a necessity like if you don’t get it, you go in shock, or lose a tooth. I think this what we tend to forget sex is a pleasure but it is NOT necessity for us to live. If I am locked up with a bunch of sweaty, stanky ass men. I am sorry to say sex is the furthest thing on my mind even the Lube and hand doesn’t feel right if you share the cell with another dude when you can hear a n**a fart, well just imagine you stay over your friends house or share a hotel room together and you hear someone get off on themselves!. The only thing I thought of is how many days and what I am going to do when I get out.
