Val Kilmer Opens Up About 50 Cent
You may have heard the rumors about rapper 50 Cent buying movie co-star Val Kilmer an expensive collector’s automobile. In this interview with MTV, Kilmer speaks on Fiddy’s extravagant gift and how it came about. Kilmer totally loses me with this explanation. Maybe someone can translate it for me:
It was quite shocking. It’s a 1965 Impala convertible. He knows how close I am with my kids. And it was actually cruel that he would take over as the centerpiece of their affections with an object. [Jokingly addressing 50:] You may have been shot nine times and you may be the #1 rapper on Earth, but I know where you live. I’m going to wait until you’re asleep, and you’re going to wake up screaming, buddy. He’s still got a slug in his tongue. And yet he gets up in the morning and makes a living speaking. Amazing.
Kilmer also praised Curtis Jackson’s acting skills, saying, I’d have to say he’s a better actor. He’s very effective. He’s a real genuine, kind man. He made a song for my kids.

Don’t hate 50 so much that you miss the point. Did you read the whole interview? He was joking about how much he appreciated the car. The second part is in resoonse to a question MTV asked. I don’t understand the confusion. From reading the interview he comes across as quite an intelligent and witty individual. Why the hate?
Sorry Val the hottest rapper on earth would be Lil Wayne followed by Kanye. We’ll have to check out the rest of the sales this year before we can even determine 50s place on the list. Suffice it to say he is not nearly as hot as he once was.

I think people are only commenting on Sandra’s excerpt of the interview which is why it doesn’t make much sense. Most of us probably have little interest in reading a whole story about 50. This little one is bad enough.

I think 50 is misunderstood because some people can’t separate him from his lyrics enough to appreciate his progress. Say what you will…his story is a testimony to what God can bring you through. I like 50…..Though I don’t like the “I’ma Soldier” video…I like 50 as an overall artist.
