I wondered the same thing! If you ask the people who have worked for him, they would tell you that they have gtten to where they currently are in life cause of him.. That transgender dude is fuuunnnnyyy! I will be watching this WAY before I watch anything Kim Porter has to say

I love me some Diddy, but I know that I could NEVER work for him. It is a great opportunity for someone who is trying to be in the entertainment industry as an executive. I’m watchin’ it now.

i watched the show last night and they done some crazy azz ish just to be diddy’s assistant now dont get me wrong I will tune in for next week episode because Im reality junkie! but however there is “PO-Oprah” aka Kim aka Queen of all ****ezzz!

I LOVED the show, but then I am an executive assistant and event planner. I would kill to work for Diddy or anyone else in his high profile position. When he said someone told him they were tired and he asked them what that rhymed with I yelled at the TV, “BUT THEY STILL GOT IT ON THEIR RESUME!!!” What I think of of Diddy personally has absolutely nothing to do with my career. As you can see from his former assistants the job always leads to better things. I actually wanted to try out for this show because it would do wonders for my event planning business. So the answer to your question is I would work for Diddy and I am not crazy, just crazy ambitious. I’d work for Diddy for free.

I watched the show and say what you want-but if you work for diddy’s crazy azz you will definitely have the necessary skills to become more than a successful personal assistant, look at the level of success his former assistants have achieved.
Who wouldn’t want the opportunity, if you are single and no kids and have the drive and the ability to withstand all the craziness you just might win the opportunity to travel the world, meet people in the industry, and make some powerful business connections-
it’s no more or less an internship opportunity that just happens to be for a industry mogul-the possibilities are endless……
stop playin, he’s an attention whore but he is a perfectionist and he commands perfection..if you can survive his antics and outbursts you definitely could gain exposure, capitalize off of the experience and knowledge you gain, and land a damn good paying job and possibly for a less anal celebrity.

I have never been a personal assistant yet I have done such things as take my exec’s car in for maintenance, filed personal income tax returns, organized their wive’s (who don’t work) personal events, scheduled and waited for the cable man, etc. When you support senior level executives you are their personal assistant.

exactly, my title is personal assistant and all of the tasks you outlined I’ve done and then some……
personal assitant means you assist them in every facet of their lives even their personal lives, but the perks are very nice, you are their trusted right-hand man per se…
people will do anything to get on tv, any he will do anything to be on tv. so its a perfect match.

To give you an idea how ambitious I am, I was willing to give up custody of my children temporarily to try out for this show and possibly work for Diddy. Doing so would benefit them enourmously in the long run.

She is a boss and having worked for executives I know there is no way they can go from being the boss to being bossed. They’d commit suicide first. So if she did win she’ll be dismissed quickly for screaming on the wrong person and they can do the show again and I can try out next time.

I enjoyed the show. I personally wouldnt want to work for Diddy, but someone that wants to get into that industry it will be a helluva stepping stone. Plus there are WONDERFUL perks.

You are on point with everything you said. I personally could not work for Diddy I have two girls and I am a single parent so in my eyes I am the HBIC. I am use to being in the boss role and can’t be treated less than that. But, I do feel if you don’t have any kids and just getting started in life I would definitely go for it. He runs a multi-million dollar company he doesn’t need or wants slacker in midst. So yes you better be on time, dressed to impress and ready to work. Cause one slacker can mess up a whole show. I think the Tranny and the other guy who was dressed really nice might win. Kim could win but she likes being the boss. One thing about her she will get the job done. In the wise words of Diddy…..

In reality you can’t get a job working for a top exec or even a lower level senior exec like a VP when you are just starting out in life because it takes years of experience before they would even consider you which the majority of the contestants have. That one chick that is still in college wouldn’t get past HR in the real world. I was an administrative assistant for about 7 years before I could even break into the executive level.
And yall stop messing with that girl about her warefare. hehehehe
Whoever she is she should know that employers don’t ask about your government assistant history. As long as you don’t sound ghetto you will be allowed to move up if you work hard. No exectutive is going to allow you to represent them acting ghetto or having the stereotypical kneck rolling sista girl swag. One thing I like about the show is that exploding when you are pissed is good TV and might keep you around, but the fact is if Diddy disrespects his assistant in front of others or curses at her/him or even barks orders the assistant has to suck it up. Please believe white execs outside the entertainment industry do it too.
