Madonna’s adopted son David Banda was spotted playing with his siblings in Central Park today. There are two problems that I have with this picture. The first is David playing with dolls and the second is David pushing a doll baby stroller.
Neither one of these acts is very manly. This is the problem that I have with Caucasians who adopt ethnic children as accessories. They tend to feminize our boys and emasculate them to the point where they don’t know if they are girls or boys.
No son of mine would ever be caught dead playing with dolls. Hell, I didn’t even play with dolls when I was a kid. We have enough down low men running around pretending to be straight.

This is ignorant. Why do we always feel that we have to genderize things and then complain about the double standards in today’s society? Of course the toy isnt “manly” because it isnt targeted towards adults it is for children..He is a child and children just want to PLAY i doubt that he knows the difference between a baby doll and a toy soldier..children only know what we program them to know…Im glad that Madonna is just letting her son be a CHILD..Someone always has something to complain about..Stop placing gender norms/roles on children..
Oh, and letting a little boy play with a doll does NOT mean that your child will end up being gay or on the downlow and Sandra you being a lesbian you should know that. Children know nothing about sexuality at this age..

Do little girls learn about everyday adult life through pretending to have babies(dolls) and pretending to cook with those Easy Bake’s. If all boys played with are toy guns and soldiers and trucks what do you get? A rapper that grows up to talk about shooting people and driving expensive cars with rims!! Boys need to know that it is okay to take care of thier kids when they become men.

As a little gurl, i didn’t play with dolls. I’d rather play wrestling, football, basketball, and video games. I enjoy doing boy things….guess what….i’m straight. I had two dolls my entire life, a doll house that continues to sit in my garage that was barely touched. I’m not gonna front, my son isn’t going to be playing with a doll and all that, but its not that cut and dry. Like i said, i’m straight, and loved doing what hte boys did.

I played with trucks, played footballs and butchered every doll’s hair that I ever had. Guess what? I’m straight and can be girly girl or gully gully - take your pick.

Maybe he’s prentending like it’s a car?? My son and sister are almost the same age, 11 mo apart. When they were really little my sister had this doll that my son LOVED to play with. I would let him play, but it pissed my dad the hell off.
It was a really cool toy for a 3 year old. CAnt remember the name, but the doll went on a mount and when you pulled the string it would spin off like a top and the wings would spin. I did find out that there was a similar toy for boys, so I got him that one.
I just had a thought? Who’s stroller is that? isnt Lourdes too big to play with a stroller that size, and I hope it isnt Rocko’s
There is nothing wrong with a boy playing with a doll. Heck, that is why men don’t want to watch their own kids, change diaper, feed and clothe them because they never played house.
My son liked dolls (even though I never brought him one) and he is 18 now and love him some girls and kids. And for the record there are boy dolls out there.
