When I heard about this story last week I figured it was bogus. What judge is going to approve a restraining order without any evidence of stalking? I just knew NBA star Shaquille O’Neal could not be that stupid to leave evidence behind, right?
Apparently he is and he did:
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Richard Hicks granted Alexis Miller’s request Thursday after reviewing her allegations that the basketball player stalked her, threatened her with bodily harm and made harassing phone calls in which he breathed heavily into the phone before hanging up.Miller, a 23-year-old hip-hop artist known professionally as Maryjane[click for her MySpace], claimed she ended an intimate relationship with O’Neal last month. She alleged he then threatened to pay performers $50,000 each not to work with her.
“It’s been very difficult for her,” said L. David Wolfe, Miller’s Atlanta-based attorney. “Her fears are not only for herself but also the people around her.” He said Miller, who has a young son, is “pretty traumatized.”
Wolfe said Miller had known the 7-foot-1, 325-pound All-Star center for about a year and a half, and that the two became intimate over the past six to eight months.
The court affidavit quotes an e-mail from O’Neal as saying, “I dnt no who the [expletive] u think u dealin wit u will neva be heard from one phone call is I gotta make now try me. Sho me.” (Source)

In no way am i saying tis good to cheat but at least don’t leave all the EVIDENCE behind. Don’t people understand the power of emails, text, etc. Photos and images are no longer the points to consider.
On Shaunie - I ahave read based on there lifestyle - its cheaper to keep her. If this is true Shaq has some nerve amking threats … you never know what bag a sidfe chick is going to come out of, that’s why you should keep it in your pants.

I agree 100%, but that’s the power of money..Women are a lot more tolerant of a man’s bull$hyt when he has money or fame..It’s really sad but women lower their morals, and self respect when it come to a baller or a rich man, they prostitue themselves, turn into groupies and jump off’s and allow themselves to be used and drug through the dirt..I never only blame the women because I feel both parties are equally guilty and responsible..Unfortunately men are expected to cheat and be whores so it’s more socially acceptable for them to sleep around this is why women tend to bash the other woman more than the man because they expect men to cheat, not saying that it’s right.

I hear what you are saying, but this thread isn’t about CHEATING per se….it’s basically about this woman, knowingly and willingly having a relationship with a man she knows to be married, and ASKING THE LAW FOR PROTECTION when this situation turns around on her. At least that’s how i see it….it’s not about him and her getting caught cheating and who’s wrong cheating….Of course when it comes to that, i’ve always felt that the person more responsible is the person whose married cause had that not opened the door, no one can get in to “ruin” a marriage, and if both married parties keep everyone else out, and not open doors for outsiders to cheat with, then their marriages stays tight…there’s always wolves at the door waiting to pounce, and that’s why it very important for those married to protect their relationship, and not let others in….They both are wrong, but Shaq is the one who made the promise to stay faithful to this wife.
However, in this situation, i just found it outrageous that this trick asking for protection after doing a horrible act for god knows how long….now that her plan is backfiring, she wants the law to protect her! To say that she doesn’t owe her anything is a cop out in my opinion. It is so typical of the other woman to act as if the “MRS” doesn’t exist. Where is the dignity? My, My, So quick to pass judgement!! We’ve learned from past experiences that the accused is not always guilty! I can accuse whoever I want of whatever I want. The evidence is the deciding factor. Just because the restaining order was granted, doesn’t make him automatically guilty.
