After 13 Years, They Finally Got Him
OJ Simpson was found guilty Friday on all counts stemming from a confrontation in a Las Vegas hotel room. The verdict came 13 years to the day OJ was acquitted of the brutal murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown-Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
Mr. Simpson now faces 15 years to life for the kidnapping charge as well as a minimum of at least an additional 10 years in prison on the other charges. His attorney, Yale Galanter, said he would appeal.After the verdicts were read, the judge revoked the bail for Mr. Simpson, a Heisman Trophy winner and an inductee in the National Football Hall of Fame. As his sister, Carmelita, wept and fainted in the front row, he was led away in handcuffs. Mr. Simpson is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 5.
“He’s extremely upset, extremely emotional,” Mr. Galanter said after his was escorted from the courtroom. “We knew this was going to be very difficult, we knew the jury was going to be very difficult, we knew the jurisdiction would be very difficult.” (Source)

Too bad for him,his ass shoulda known going in this it might have been a set-up. I still dont understand how did they make a case out of this, thieves STOLE his memorabilia,and was trying to sell it, he found out a way to get it back and know has to do prison time on stolen property that belongs to him.I understand they claim he kidnapped 2 guys by not letting them leave their hotel room WTF ! but by the recordings and different evidence the theives had available to cops it just all seems far fetched.

Yes he wanted to get his belongings back but a gun was waved and one of his cohorts recorded the event. The moral of the story. Make sure your partner in crime is down for you. O J never had a chance on this one. He is now facing 15-life. To be a fly on the wall in the Brown, Goldman homes. I wonder being he will spend so much time isolated in a jail cell if his conscience will get the best of him and he will confess. They can’t retry him.
Please, if those cops were not crooked OJ would have been guilty. Its those stupid trifling cops that messed up the case against OJ

I meant to say I hope he was given a fair trial and was not really being tried for 1995. The civil suit was in ‘97.
u know his azz wasn’t no fair trial….. puh leaze…..i don’t care what the jury had to say. The thought of letting him go free a second time was too much for them, so heck no, he wasn’t given a fair trial.
with that said…..it is what it is, aint nobody gonna feel bad for sombody who who got a way with murder….
It’s too bad the police immediately decided that he committed murder and set out to frame him rather than handle things properly. Now we may never know for a fact. But I guess people are glad now that they got him on some trumped up charges.
He was a damn dummy running around like he owned the world. If they had his stuff, he should have called the cops instead he was a dummy and tried to do it his way, so now he has to pay the price. He got away with double murder, if that would have been me, I would have layed so low that no one would have known that I still existed. There is a right way to do things and a wrong way. Thank You. The divide of the races will never go away. Even black ppl know he had something to do with it, they were just happy that he was found not guilty. Not me. if you have ever been in a abusive relationship the verdict 13 yrs ago only brought anger and injustice to me. Not saying that one man should be found guilty for what happened to me. After O J was found not guilty he was so arrogent that he was still dating white woman(not there is anything wrong with that, but is first wife was a sister), playing golf,(resuming his social status) had a domestic dispute with his own daughter. Had an episode of road rage and punched out someone breaking their glasses. Wrote a book that the title was “If I Did It”. The black community supported his sell out ass but he only used us. My question is, will he still try to use his resourses to find the murderer of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman while in jail. I say he only has to look in his jail cell mirror.
I’m glad they finally gonna put his ignorant ass away! I’m tired of hearing about him…he makes legitimate innocent black folks convicted of crimes look bad! He murdered Nicole Brown, and there was definitely enough evidence to convict him but, he got off on a technicality…and instead of him just falling back for awhile he continued to stay in the limelight and still got caught up! He deserves everything that he gets!! I’m just glad that 13 years later we can finally put the OJ thing to rest….he’s finally BUSTED!!!!!

Justice is not always “swif and quick”, our justice system just caught a guy who raped and murdered a teenager getting off the bus after attending her Catholic School back in 1969. You can run but you can’t hide. I do not celebrate those who beat the system by their wallet or name. I get so fustrated with men who are so humble who are now because of DNA getting out of jail after serving over 20 years. People wonder why there is such a break up in the home of the black community. News Flash, quit believing the pointing of a finger and do your job. More black men and Latino, Mexicans men are in prisoned for failure of evidence but a point of the finger than any other race. McCain knows about the over crowding of prisons and his answer is to “build more prisons” , he never stated that lets use DNA to see if they were guilty of the crime they got convicetd for. The system will get you now or get you later. I of course would want the later if I did it vs the now and spending decades in jail because I did not do it and had to spend all that time away from my family. There are also many who go to jail for crimes because they looked like the person who robbed the bank or raped a woman. A victim in such cases has changed her mind because s/he was not sure or knows that was not close to looking like the person that did it. The prosecution in many cases is so happy that they got someone off the streets and our so called neighborhoods are now safe again that they do not re open many cases. I am glad that college schooling has taken the time to reopen cold cases to let these men (very scared and humble) come back home to the families they were snatched from so many yrs ago. Life and justice will never be fair. I want those who are guilty of a crime and the crime is caught on tape to go straight to jail. I also want a fair trial for all to be defended. O J had his dream team in the 90’s. If that dream team were siill his defense he still would have not walked. I don’t care who was on the jury it is hard to seperate his down falls from then and his last Rambo stupidity.

He got a jury of his peers this time. If you forget your butt is black and live in a Lilly White neighborhood where the majority of black voters registerd vs whites is no even computable to be on the jury, those are his peers.
