ATL ‘Housewives’ Ratings Double Over Two Weeks
It pays to be a bitch.
Bravo’s pompous ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ is benefiting from all that negative press heaped upon the show after it premiered three weeks ago.
The show’s ratings have doubled in just two weeks from 656,000 for the premiere to 1.32 million who saw Tuesday night’s episode. That is up from 1.184 million last week.
Additionally, nearly 7.2 million people saw the show from October 13 to October 19.
Atlanta ‘Housewives’ is already doing better than than ‘Real Housewives of New York,’ which averaged 864K viewers through three episodes vs. 1.05 million for ‘Atlanta.’ Season three of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” averaged 1.3 million viewer, concluding with 2.018 million in January. It’s human nature to look at a train wreck.
Its ok to watch…its not like we have a variety of GOOD television to tune in to….its more like BETTER than NOThing to watch at all. However, Kudos on the ratings ladies.
I still watched.. hey It was funny. NeNe needs her own ghettofab show because she is hillarious. When she said I guess you can get a grammy for humming (talking about Kim’s singing) I was cracking up
Did anybody see when the white girl (sorry don’t know her name) said she was 29! I don’t even understand where her money comes from? She married her high school sweetheart. Is “big daddy” tricking to the point that she can live such a lavish life. If so goodness I hope she got some good knee pads bc if he leaves her life as she ans kids know IS OVER.
& Dallas Austin was looking @ her like she was crazy playing those whack azz songs. & how you a singer and your friends of many years NEVER heard you sing. She is as much a singer as she is 29.

I’ve seen all the shows and have just given up on all these women. lol
They are the most materialistic and shallow people I’ve ever seen - well, almost. I mean, none of them, except with the exception of Lisa (who still probably only gained from her husband’s wealth) do any damn thing except spend money and boost their esteem by what they have.
I mean, they are hilarious to watch, especially NeNe, but seriously, they are just really sad azz women. If you have money, you don’t have to scream it from the rooftops - trust me, people know.
I have heard that this is the worst housewives show they have ever came out with.
I heard that most of the women are hot ghetto messes, and the one that’s not acts like she’s Queen….

& Wendy Willaims had them on her show. When they left she spoke about NeNe being **** eyed. Damn if the whole hour I wasn’t watching them damn eyes. Something is up with them not sure what.

I think the difference between this is and the other housewives shows is that people, including myself basically laugh at how delusional some of these women get. NeNe and Lisa are the only ones who are not delusional. I will be watching next week to se that ‘bama Deshawn tries to pull off a million dollar fundraiser in 2 weeks.

I watched it one time and I like Lisa - she may have gotten her money from her husband, but she is doing something with it other than just spending it on junk and frivolous things to show off. At least that’s the impression that I got from the one show that I saw. Nene is cool, too, she seems like some chicks that I was cool with around the way. Yeah, I kinda fell back a lil when Kim stated she was 29 Mmy damnself. I was like, “NAW….U MOST DEFINITELY LYIN’ 2 YOSELF AND AMERICA!” And tho the women are pretty arrogant, I still enjoy watching it.(ITS ENTERTAINING. It comes on Bravo. You can catch a re run pretty much every day almost but the new episodes come on Tuesday night @ 10pm est and they always start showing the re runs at like 8pm.

Im a watcher. i really expect to see a train wreck from Sheree and DeShawn.. NeNe in this last show seemed really sincere when she talked about her father. That was touching.. She is the reason that I watch the show. And Lisa Wu, her husband seems so nice and treats her very well. They appear to be a nice,fun couple.

i think we were all expecting something more from the ATL women, but hey, as with all things from atlanta, we’re supportive.
NeNe’s still my favorite, hands down. I think after Deshawn sees herself on tv, she’s going to calm down for season 2 and not put so much emphasis on money, the house, and eric not being there.
