Where Are They Now: Welcome Back Kotter Gang
Some of you may be too young to remember the hit 1975 TV series “Welcome Back Kotter”.
This is the show that launched the careers of John Travolta, who played the impossibly cute class clown Vinnie Barbarino, and Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs, who played sexy hs basketball star Freddie ‘Boom Boom’ Washington.
Of course none of these actors were young enough to be high school students. But nobody cared. The show was good, clean, wholesome fun.
Hilton-Jacobs, Robert Hegyes (Juan Epstein) and Ron Palillo (Arnold Horshack) attended the Chiller Theatre Expo at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel on Friday, October 24, 2008 in Parsippany, New Jersey.

I just watched Lawrence in Claudine…he was good as hell playing Joe Jackson in American Dream..I remember Horsehack getting his ass beat on MTV by Screech..nerd against nerd
Yes, that Lawrence character was somethin nice back in the day-in the Jackson 5 American Dream movie. He did do a good job playing Joe Jackson.
I used to watch that show. A lot of shows back then were good and wholesome. Now a days I can’t even watch a damn commericial without the implication of sex and nudity.

Blockbuster has all the old sitcoms on sale. I was so mad that they didn’t have all the “Columbo” seasons. Don’t you hate it when the salespeople say “if it’s not on the shelf it’s not in the store.”
I love Welcome Back Kotter.. Just thinking about the song brings back good memories…
hahaha ok Sandra..I couldn’t even look at the “real” Joe Jackson anymore..i’m like IMPOSTER! I did that when Angie played Tina..at the end of the movie when it showed the real Tina coming on stage it didn’t look right..
