FanMAIL: White Man Assaulted For Stealing Obama Sign

A loyal reader emailed me this account of what happened when he caught a white man stealing an Obama sign out of his yard.

It’s a long read, but the point he made is that he is willing to cause great bodily harm to another human being over an Obama sign. In other words, he was willing to go to jail over a sign.

I wish I had a son who called me from jail to bail him out because he beat a man’s ass over a sign! A sign can be replaced, but there is nothing to gain from senseless violence. I totally understand the frustration. But he could have held the man until the police got there.

This is why our jails are overcrowded with our black men because they react with their hands and emotions instead of with their brains.

So I’m on my way from Cookouts and I’m sitting in Carlos car bout to get out when this mini van turned around in front of my crib. The door opens up and this guy jumps out and runs up to the crib. At first I thought he was running up on us but this dude runs pass the car and grabs MY OBAMA SIGN!

He could not see inside the car because the tint on Carlos car is so dark. There are certain things that just don’t happen in today’s society and TAKING A BLACK MANS OBAMA SIGN with a few days to go is one of them. Carlos yells he taking the sign! WHAT!!! So I hop out the car to see what the hell what’s up. As we meet between the cars I could see my OBAMA Sign in his hands bent the hell up. Of all the houses in this lily white neighborhood he had to pick the only black house here and I’m never at home so it had to go down school clothes on or not.

As he saw us he tried to run but the arm reach was too much for him, I grabbed him by the back of the Jacket as he tried to run and swung his ass on the ground and caught his ass with a two piece. As I got ready to stomp his butt out, his MOM jumps out the car and yells ‘stop.’ Like I said, I live in a white neighborhood so a white woman yelling would be normal but when she said she was his mom I was stunned… I could not believe this dude and his mom are riding around taking signs. I’m standing over dude and his mom is like ‘stop I’m disable.’ What was I to do with that?

That’s when Ty come out the house and calls the cops until he sees the sign and then he…. that’s when we got the camera to take pics of this madness. So I’m asking this lady why shouldn’t I beat the hell out of her son for violating my crib and taking my sign… TAKING MY SIGN…. I had to ask her does she hate the fact a Blackman is about to be president or what? and is she willing to get her sons ass beat over it! You know what she told me…. ‘I HAVE BLACK FRIENDS!’ I told her ‘ALL WHITE PEOPLE SAY THAT!’

We talk so much smack to the mom and her son they knew they where wrong. Come to find out MOMs friend had put them up too it drove them to my street, dropped them off and rolled out when the mom got out of the car. When the cops arrived… THEY ARE BLACK… 2 of them! I was talking to the mom and let her know she ain’t shit and as a Christian brother, she lucky we did not hit or hurt her son more. I just let him know don’t come in my yard unannounced and running up like that on us. This is where the cracker used his trickiness… like I said the cops came and took him aside to see his side of the story. It seems you can’t lay hands and leave marks on the face of an OBAMA SIGN thief, they called it assault! Of course he said the black guys beat him up and he did have marks on his face and he took a couple hits but no real visible damage like he should have got but none the less it is what it is. When the cops asked what happen I told them I may have been to rough with him and maybe threw one punch while resisting him from stealing my sign but nothing serious. We wanted to press charges but this bum was gonna press charges on me for hitting him. You know I don’t want that drama so I said let him go. Girl, you should check out the movie Felon (I believe it was based on factual events, but I’m not sure)…..well anyway, in the movie the whyte man’s house was broke into by another one, and the guy smacked the robber in the head with a bat, just as he left the house…..he died on the lawn…..they sentenced the house owner to 8 years in jail for manslaughter, because the man was killed on the lawn, not in the house.

I think that is how it really is….you can defend yourself by any means in your house, but not on the outside of your house.

The only thing the brother could have got the Obama sign stealers for is trespassing, and vandalism…..I feel him though…it doesn’t sound it was JUST about the sign.

Well I found out this morning that muddafukkas WILL do some crazy shyt…..somebody stole all the lugs off my ride!

Fortunately, I found out something was up as soon as I looked at the car…the owner of the truck on the next block (newer than my car, I got an 03) apparently didn’t notice the lugs gone on the driver’s side til he/she started to drive off…their rear axle is bent and the wheel is hanging by one lug, and the front wheel popped on off!

I went and bought some new lugs, this time with the locks, as soon as the auto parts store opened….

“Stand Your Ground” basically means that if an uninvited person comes on your property and you feel threatened, you do not have to retreat, you have the right to fight back and not be prosecuted under law or be sued by the victim’s family. This may not be true for yard signs, but it is true for cars, boats, and your home. I’ve read over all the comments and this election has revealed what minorities in this country have known for decades that racism is alive and kicking and will continue to be long after the Obamas and McCains. Regular bloggers on here who normally blog civilly are now attacking Hermosa because her/his ethnicity is different, people everything is not about black and white. Besides the Obama sign bandit in the story does not even look white, he looks more middle eastern than anything, does that change anything?, no he’s still a thief. Could the owners of the property handled it better? Maybe, maybe not, I wasn’t there, I don’t know what kinda neighborhood they live in, I don’t know nothing about that brotha and what his family goes through on a daily basis living in that neighborhood, so his reaction may have played off of that, no one knows but all involved, but we can’t let this election divide us, we have to stand united. I live in 90% white republican old money neighborhood and ever since I moved here I have been harrassed by these white people. I am NOT a racist and hate white people but I do hate republican old white people because they are viciious, sneaky and hateful. I have lived in this neighborhood 3 years. The first 3 weeks I moved in received notices from the county stating that I have too many people at my house and they are suspecting me running a business. The people that were at my house were contractors. I county came out 3 time within my first 3 months.

Then I had my 11 month old puppy german shepard/lab mix put to sleep because these old white racists republicans. They put flyers all over the neighborhood with my address and phone number with a big headline “Vicious and Aggressive Pitbull Loose” and it stated I was the owner. The dog pound came and impounded him.

then months later my puppy got loose and I get a phone call from a neighbor telling me she got my puppy and I can pick it up she also told me that one of these OAC got scared and fell when my puppy was trying to play with with their dog. They called the dog pound on me and said that my dog viciously attacked him when my neighbor saw the whole thing and my pup didn’t touch him, he got hurt falling because his dog wrapped the leash around him. Yet, my pup was picked up and I had to go to court. They knew a judge at Dekalb and the judge ordered him to be put to sleep. These white people claimed they had to go to the hospital but yet couldn’t produce no bill or injury. The cops were on my side and tried to talk to the judge, I had 7 withnesses and they were only 2 but yet I lost! WTF??? When we left the cops walked up to me and told me that this was straight up B.S.

So I know about racism because I deal with it everytime I go home. I wait for the day that a tornado rips a tree and falls on their house! Yes those are McCain/Palin supporters they are all racists!
