So Jay Z wants to have kids with Beyonce rather than bring any home from the Motherland? That’s interesting. Hopefully he and Beyonce will wait until they settle down to have children.

It wouldn’t make sense for such a busy couple to have children right now. I heard Jay Z’s drug of choice is Viagra (which explains why he’s so tired looking).

In 10 more years, he’ll be 50 and Viagra will still be around:

Jay-Z was flying solo at the U.N. Global Leadership Awards Gala in New York Wednesday night. But even without wife Beyoncé Knowlesby his side, he still happily chatted about his plans to start a family – eventually.

The rapper, who was being honored for his work to bring clean water to young people in Africa, has spent several weeks touring the continent.

But unlike Angelina Jolie and Madonna http://www.people.com/people/madonna>, it didn’t inspire him to adopt. “No,” the Grammy-winner told PEOPLE. “I don’t want to bring any kids home.”

But Jay-Z does want babies of his own. “Most people dream of having a family someday,” he told reporters. “So I’m just a regular American boy.”

In the meantime, he’s focused on his humanitarian work – noting that more than 2 billion people don’t have access to clean water.

“Many charities, you close your eyes and cross your fingers and hope that the money gets to the people who really deserve it,” he said. “But with this, I got to go to Africa, see the water pumps. I got to see the kids turn them on.” (Source)

    Many have said that Jigga is packing… mmmm mmmmm good.

    & the children comment was uncalled for. He didn’t even say he wants kids right now. They have enough money to have kids when ever they are good and ready. There is never a good time to have kids. You either have them or you don’t. There will always be something in life you want to accomplish.

    This should’ve been titled Jay Z wins an award even though he already felt rewarded.

    Shame that that one line is getting so much exposure but the reason he was out to speak it in the first place is brushed under the rug.

    I saw the TV special of him visiting the areas where they put in those water pumps. The kids were ecstatic!

    Sh!t, T.I. out doing stuff as part of his COMMUNITY SERVICE sentencing gets praise on this site like he found the cure for cancer!

    Jay does already have a little boy in Trinidad! -And I must say, though he looks just like him, he is sooo cute!! I believe he’s 8yrs old now. I do hope this time around this child will be blessed with looks as well. lol
