A Dallas county bus driver is in a little hot water for choking an out of control student on her bus.
Janet Pitts vented her frustration at the child by choking him. “He threw a can up here. I got up and choked the sh*t out his ass!,” said Pitts.
The child is mentally challenged and bi-polar.
Dale Kiser with the National Education Association says don’t blame the bus driver for her actions: “it’s been stated, documented, everything else that there always should have been a monitor with this particular student on that bus,” he said.
According to the special education department, a monitor should be on board the bus at all times with the boy due to his violent nature.

One should never choke a child. The bus driver really had no shame. You can tell she is fed up with this kid.

The bus driver should have been more professional about the situation……like run all the red lights, stop signs, school zones………..to keep her from laying hands on the child……

How many of the people reporting on this story actually work with kids on a daily? I am a 7th grade teacher and I will be the first to say that these damn kids are crazy. The unfortunate deal is that so many of them get classified as special ed. and as a result the behavior has a reason attached to it now. I had a student who for two years has acted a fool with me. Her attacks get worse with every one. The last time she chest bumped me in the office while walking with a principal. All I could say was thank God I ain’t what I used to be, because the old me would have snatched her azz up. But as a result of her parents not dealing with her, administration not dealing with her, and all these damn politics in education she is now in special ed. making those folks miserable. She beats down this one kid every damn week. People tend to forget that teachers are regular people too. Imagine having 30 kids in one room, 10 under special ed. with all kind of different issues. 5 with actual learning disablities and 5 that are special ed becasue they are just bad azz hell. How are the other 20 learning.

@kalvonel, you’rew right, many kids these days are misdiagnosed, they exhibit normal (tameable) behavior and these school districts label them and they live within the limits of the label.
I don’t have kids, but anyone who let’s me watch their kids must give me permission to use physical punishment as a form of discipline, otherwise I’m not watching their gremlins. My Aunt works with children with mental disorders and one time they choked her with her seatbelt when she was driving. It can be very dangerous because you don’t know what these children are capable of doing. I dont know what i would’ve done in that situation but i pretty sure i would’ve been similiar
That joker had enough sense to grab his **** up and get off the bus when it was time. I think it was just a bad reaction from the bus driver it probably scared her and she jump up before you knew it I would not have choked him and dont forget she pushed that head against that window first did everyone miss that??
