I’m just poking my head in for a minute to wish you a Happy and joyous New Year, and to thank you for continuing to visit Sandrarose.com!
I’m taking today and the rest of the weekend off for a much needed rest. While I’m off I’ll be thinking about changes I can make so my blog will be bigger and better for you this year.

I asked because everytime I see it, it’s a repeat and I don’t remember a season Finale. The last new episode I saw Mel had slept with the doctor and then ran to Dewin who tried to sleep with her and she said no.

I will always be on team Usher and Chilli I dont know how to let things go. That being said he has every right to marry Meka or anybody else and I never held that against him. I don’t like how ppl who defended her tried to make it a color issue like Chilli was light bright. To each their own if he likes it I love it. @ Cdrop I feel what you are saying about the media. I remember they was calling her Maneka. If he wanted to express himself he should’ve went on a forum (tv or internet) and voiced that. Not wait till TRL is about to go to commercial and start ranting and raving about how much you love this woman. or calling radio stations threating to beat people up.

Again I say Chilli wasnt light skin but she did have long hair but Meka has long hair so what. Not all blk men avg. Joe or otherwise dates only LSLH females. The media and blogs played Usher and he got sucked in they made a story out of nothing.

Chili is light skinned, she is far from dark. IMO Usher spoke up for his family, which is what my dude should do in the same event. Care what they say or not, stand ya ground, speak ya peace, then keep it moving. He did just what he was supposed to do.
@Keely umm Chilli is NOT light skinned..lol She is brown skinned. Light skin is Halle, Akeys, Mya NOT Chilli. I am all for standing up for your family but do it was some class and tact.
i applaud usher for speaking up for his family, but after a while it seemed like he was whining and it got to be annoying. he never should have had to speak on it but once. after that one time he should have let it be .he put it out there and he let the world know where he stood. if people didn’t like it, then so be it . all his acting an azz on tv and what not only made things worst .

Not sure about the whinning, I was speaking about TRL. I light skinned, brown skinned, its all light skin to a dark skin sister or brother. Round here the people that you referenced Daisy A keyes, are called Red. Light skin, is your brown skinned because its just that, light and not dark.

no i don’t see chilli as light skinned she’s brown to me. she’s not as dark as tameka , but some people would consider her dark skinned . i guess some people see it differently. i’m always referred to as dirty red( don’t ask why) or light skinned .

Looking at the pics of Chili, myb ad, dang she is much darker than I remember. T-Boz is lighter than her, my bad, I dont know what I was picturing.
I still have luv for Usher and although I did refer to her as Maneka I always said if he liked it I loved it. He can marry who he wants but I feel had his cd been hotter she wouldnt have gotten caught up in the crossfire. I could be wrong though.

I agree. I don’t post too often. I am a teacher so I don’t get the chance to sit down and post like others. I do use my break and after work time to catch up, but I don’t have a whole lot of time. Just knowing that I can post when I get the chance to is nice. I like reading the comments more than the actual posts sometimes. keep the registration the way it is. after going to media-takeout and seeing how they comment and go at each other, i find your way much better. i notice in here people are more mature and they are not crucified for their opinions. i know we all don’t agree but it is handled in a mature manner in here since Sandra had closed registration.
