New Music: Ciara - Never Ever
I interrupt my vacay to bring you new music from Ciara: this is the “official” first single off Ciara’s overhauled CD Fantasy Ride. The song is titled “Never Ever” featuring Young Jeezy. “Never Ever” is produced by Polow Da Don and goes to radio tomorrow (1/5).
My loyal readers demand less negativity from me in 2009 and I plan to comply with their wishes. As Gandhi said, “We must be the change we wish to see in the world.”
So I won’t give my usual negative opinion on this track. But I know Philana Wiliams has to be somewhere laughing!

it’s still hard to understand her when she sings….it is either her words run together or she tryig trying to sing high notes……but i like jeezy. jeezy will help this song a great deal….love songs {sigh}…oh as far as the song it will be an nice radio song, meaning i would like to listen to it on the radio but not buy it.

Okay..I must admit I did vote for less negativity, but in my defense I honestly only meant it towards Obama; so if less negativity means you can’t bash a song clearly as horrible as this non-sense then forget my vote….be NEGATIVE!
Jeezy helps the song, but she really needs to stop the singing type songs…….its not for her…..

as for the song…(in my “men on film” in living color 1994 voice…) hated it!!
but i am sure my 13 yo and her crew will like it tho…which is her core audience anyway (teenage girls).

I wanted to like this SONG, but the lyrics, don’t make sense to me. I heard it Sat night on the radio. I like Go Girl, more than this track myself. I guess we will see what the masses think ina few weeks.

I agree with this also … I JUST READ THE LYRICS, cause I couldn’t make the words out. And yes Jeezy IMO is the reason why it may get some radio play.
I like Ciara. I think her dancing talent is overlooked and that she is actually a much more talented performer than Bey or Chris Brown IMO.
I wanted to like the song because this child needs a hit but the song is just o.k. Maybe it will grow on me but so far it’s thumbs down for me.

PLEASE do not change who you are or how you run your site. They way you are is the reason for your success and although I’m sure you appreciate everyones opinions, you should continue to run your site the way YOU see fit. Folks will either love it or go elsewhere.
I like CiCi and this song. I dont think the song will sound so bootleg and low budget on the radio but I could be wrong. CiCi has never been know for strong vocals and thats not the lane she has ever tried to be in or wants to be in. She will always be known for her DANCING which she does betta than anyone in the game right now!!

Wow so this is the single? Its not a bad song but isn’t all that either. Having a rapper on your song isn’t going to help nobodys buying their music either. Goodbye Ciara she had a nice 2 album run just Mya, Jody Watley, Pebbles etc, but her crunk nonsense music won’t last like the other ladies music has.
@Naima I am still waiting on Mya to give it another go. She wasnt the best singer but she had some cute songs, a good look, and she could dance.

The last song I liked from Mya was Fallin. She is in that category with Ciara of having good dance talent but never really taking off. She did get a couple of acting roles though so good for her.

i kind of like the song because it has that love in the club feel . i can’t stand polow though . all he does is recycle his beats over and over again. this song is a perfect example of how untalented his meerkat looking self is.

“Never Ever” is very reminiscent.

I like the song! I’m rootin for Cici, but I agree, her voice sounds really weak! I’ver heard her sound alot better. The song is sweet tho, and catchy.
