Celebs Out & About: Kanye West Unveils New LV Shoes
Emotionally troubled singer Kanye West unveiled his personally designed Louis Vuitton sneakers with the help of flamboyant Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs at the Louis Vuitton fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Menswear Autumn/Winter 2009 yesterday (1/22) in Paris, France. I’m sure this is just for show because In this economy, those shoes won’t sell. And someone should whisper in Kanye’s ear and tell him that his LV handbag doesn’t match his shoes.
Meanwhile, later that evening across town, Kanye unveiled the grey version of his shoes at the Wallpaper Design Awards Reception at Boucheron yesterday (1/22) in Paris, France. I wish I had a friend at LV because I would love to cop those! But I’m not dropping $600 on a pair of sneakers just for the brand name.

The gray ones are hawt but the red ones are SUPER ugly…just horrible.
The red just take a “bolder” person to rock them, or at least an equally bold outfit. They look to be the same cute, etc..i.e.: the same shoe.

Both sneakers are hot…and I hardly ever rock sneakers. And Kanye is not emotionally unstable
i wish kanye the best , but what makes them so special ? i would wear the red ones because i love red, but again what makes them so special? for $600 i could get a laptop, some clothes, or have some extra spending money for my vacation.
i don’t know sandra i would be emotional unstable if i lost my mom ( even though she’s crazy lol). seems like she was his support system and they were very close.
i dont see anyhing about them that are special ? they dont look any better than the ones Burlington coat factory are offering for 19.99…….
I love that Kanye takes fashion risks. I love quirky clothes myself! Something about theses sneakers remind me of a pair of 54-11′s. My uptop people should know what 5411′s are (Kymy!) They look like the old school soft leather reeboks we rocked back in the 80′s. I think the gray ones look more subdued and grown up than the red ones.

I don’t think he’s unstable at all. As he mentions in a recent interview, once his mother died, he had less to fear. You take the biggest loss almost possible, what else is there to worry about? I felt and feel the same way after losing my mother.
He does look just like Walter Payton in that first pic though. And I think it’s a “shag” more so than a mullet or a mohawk/fauxhawk.

i agree with you 100%. just because his choices aren’t run of the mill doesn’t mean he’s unstable, gay, blah, blah, blah…talk about ‘crab in a barrel’ syndrome.
kanye is going thru some thangs…..him and his mom was super close. death is always hard, but an unexpected one is the worst.

@KC if you read Kanyes rant on Jesus on another site yesterday then you would indeed know he is a tad bit emotionally unstable..lol
^^ Daisy, When you lose someone very close to you, you may start to question Jesus as well. I was a young, God-fearing Christian when my father passed…and I all but cursed His name after my Dad was taken from me. It happens, it doesn’t make you emotionally unstable, or crazy, it kinda just makes you Human.
I agree that he is emotionally troubled.. Since his mom passed, he hasn’t been the same..
He need to cut that damn mullet off, ASAP.. A S A P
