I was surprised at the number of emails I received from readers defending this travesty. One reader even stated Michelle and Obama had the same complexion, which is absurd.
The photo on the right was published in Essence magazine. That photo most accurately depicts the true complexions of the Obamas.
In the photo on the left, no one escaped the graphic artist’s airbrush. But Michelle got the worst of it.
The magazine even changed Michelle’s hairstyle to suit their reader’s taste and to make Michelle appear more Jackie O-ish.
If you click on the image and look closely, you can see the trees and the pole through Michelle’s bob in the picture on the left.

There’s no way that pic can be defended. It’s just an uncalled for mess. Black is beautiful. The sooner people realize this, the better for everyone. Later for lightening them up to appear less threatening to the other race.
I agree with everyone above. She’s absolutely beautiful the way she is. Why do people feel the need to always want to place their own personal feelings of what beauty is on others? Barack married her the way she was; with a darker complexion and an intelligent mind. Why does anyone feel the need to change that?
Pic number one makes Michelle look like a “Wonder Woman” cartoonish woman. Pic number two has her saying “YES I AM SUPER WOMAN” and a classy First Lady of color all rolled up in one”.

OMG, LOL! when i first saw the picture i thought it was off and rather caricture-ish but NOW side by see i really see the mess. that’s just terrible work. how funny someone tried to pull that off. the hair and smirk is awful! leave well enough alone…michelle is the bomb!
