New Big Girl Reality Show “More To Love”

More proof that singer/songwriter Ne-Yo doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Quiet as it’s kept: big girls get more love, more attention, more sex, and now they are getting their own reality show titled “More To Love.” It’s about time.

    Morning Fam!

    Neyo spoke the truth to that girl. He aint say nothing about her NOT finding love. If she wants to be a POP star then she has to lose weight. Name one big girl POP singer? They get on Kelly Clarkson and she aint even fat just thick with it.lol Like he said if she wants to go the Jill, Jasmine, Chrisette route then she is good. Also didnt SHE ASK him for his .02 and he gave just that. Just like Ms CA did about gay marriage.

    Wait.. ain’t that Crystal Clear calling herself “Maggie” And if you know who Crystal Clear is, ya nasty! LOL

    Hello All. It’s not healthy to be 22 years old and weigh over 200 lbs, especially considering the fact that most folks gain weight as they grow older. I just came back from CA and noticed that there ain’t a lot of buffalo butts out there, like there is here in, say DC. (I think Hollywood makes them more conscience of their size.) Black women are being told that you can be fat and sexy. Maybe this is true but young, obese and healthy? It ain’t so, it just ain’t so. Peace.

    I don’t know who Crystal Clear is. I thought it was an “expression”. Wow I don’t know much for living almost 42 yrs. Just found out what autotunes is. LOL. So big girls can’t have careers? Monique, Nell Carter, Della Reese, Ricki Lake(Baby Cakes, China Beach etc…,), Queen L. Faith Evans. Carnie Wilson, ………

    Daisy says:

    @Anna I dont think that is what Neyo was saying. Plenty of big girls have careers but not as POP stars.

    Good Morning all.

    People should be able to live their lives the way they want. We all are going to die from something and if being fat doesn’t bother the person it sure as heck isn’t going to bother me.

    As far as the Neyo comment. He represents what’s wrong with the music industry. Just because what he said was right doesn’t make it right. The way sales are down the record companies need to reprogram themselves. Big girls have powerful voices.

    @ topic it is about time. But if you watch Bridzilla big girls gets lots of love & wedding rings to match.

    I was sticking up for the big girls. LOL. I saw the big girls in line for this show wanting to be apart of it and I could not belive how beautiful they looked but they did look my age and they were in their early 20′s. Extra weight does make one look older.

    I posted a comment similar to this on another blog. Couldn’t agree more.

    There’s somebody for everybody. Some men like big girls, some like skinny girls. The bad thing is when a big girl can’t cook and I have seen this happen….what a waste.

    wiggy2272003 says:

    Not that this happens with skinny girls either but if there was a girl who could sing pop songs WELL

    KaraZ says:

    Why is fat now called real sized? We need to stop lying to ourselves for crying out loud, our hearts, bones and bodies in general weren’t meant to be supersized. Not everyone is meant to be a size 4 but I guarantee you God didn’t create us to be size 20.
    Sandra you should be ashamed of yourself putting up that lie that big girls get more love, more attention and more sex; when in actuality those who get the love they deserve are those who are 100% sure of themselves and don’t settle for less, regardless of their size.
    Many men who are chubby chasers will freely admit that they like big girls because they are easier to deal with and take care of him better, when what he’s really saying is that they take my ish and let me walk all over them. They’re skinny women who allow this as well, but many weak men target big women because they believe most of them are attention starved and are willing to get any piece of a man.

    OOPS HIT SEND
    A big girl who fits all the requirements of being a pop star maybe if the industry promoted her there might be one.

    that being said I think he was just telling her like it is. like it or not

    This ish above applies to my BFF!, she real nice and would do anything for anybody including her man, gave that nicca keys the her house and let that fool drive her benz. Yeah can pretty much say she is one stupid (fill in the blank) :)

    KayCeiSoul says:

    “but I guarantee you God didn’t create us to be size 20″

    Where is that in the Word? I hope that’s not a money back “guarantee” you’re giving.

    Since when and how do you know that God put a size limit (size 20 to be specific) on people?? There are people who wear a size 20 and are TALL with BIG BONES, not necessarily overweight. And some people that society may look at as overweight are actually HEALTHY.

  15. 15
    Daisy says:

    @Ice so now its Neyos fault that the music industry sucks? He doesnt make the rules he is just telling baby girl what they are which I am sure she already knew/knows.

    I could care less what size somebody is as long as they can SANG!

  16. 16
    Daisy says:

    @Kay I was told by my Dr and have heard other’s say as well there is no such thing as big bones..lol

  17. 17
    aqtpie says:

    They have dance your a$$ off getting ready to come on; where overweight people are dancing to lose weight and win money. I will be watching!

    iscream says:

    Thank you Kayci it was 2 early for me to go there. Smh

    As I said if you watch Bridzilla most of those women getting married are not skinny women.

    I have a friend who is 4’11 90 something pounds. She swears everybody who is bigger than her is jealous of her and fat. But you know what she is single and miserable. While another girl I know is almost 300 pds and pulls many men. Its all about the person so Kara I will agree with. People who are 100% sure of themselves get love. & that comes in all sizes.

  19. 19
    Daisy says:

    @Aqtpie I will be watching as well

    @Ice Single women came in ALL sizes last time I checked SMH as well :wink:

    KaraZ says:

    @KayCeisoul

    Most people claiming to be big boned are just big eaters. Even if they were big boned, that only means they should weigh on average 10 – 20lbs more than the average person, not carry an extra 50 -100lbs on their frame.

    I randomly picked size 20 because I don’t know any size 20 people who are not actually obese and far from what their natural weight (i.e. sans rolls around their mid section, hidden bones that should be obvious) and wrought with weight related health problems. Now while there’s no Bible verse stating size 20, I do know that the Bible says that God wants us to live a good life, and I don’t know how good a life someone can live when they’re at a higher risk for Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, gallstones, osteoarthritis and what not.

    We need to stop being sensitive about weight and accept that some sizes are simply not healthy and that includes both ends of the weight spectrum.

  21. 21
    kcicero says:

    Wow, I’m going to halfway agree with Karaz on this. Black women in general need to get healthier. That involves eating better and working out more. And nothing Cute about being ridiculously over weight, it comes with all comes of health problems.

    The same is true for those of us who look like we’ve never eaten a meal in our life.

    dblaq says:

    Can we get some REAL acting poppin again???? WTF are all these reality shows for about deranged, attention hungry, no talent having and only drama causing psychos! I don’t want to see anymore the best [insert word here] show, any hook up shows, all this other crap

    Can we get a In Living Color, Martin, Jamie Foxx, Dave Chappelle Show, more True Blood????

    But I guess as long as everybody love to watch crap it won’t happen

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Why wouldn’t the big girls watch it? Everyone wants someone to identify with. What about the “chubby chasers”?
  25. 25
    KayCeiSoul says:
    I hear ya KaraZ,
    I’m not being sensitive about weight at all because at the moment, I’m at my target weight, so I’m happy about that. But there was a time when I wasn’t, and I knew what I needed to do to get it together and I got it done. Flatout. So to the extent of being healthy, I do agree.
    I DO know a size 20 person who is NOT obese for her height and stature, and is very healthy. So there – we can agree to disagree on that one. :smile:
    And Daisy, please give me your Dr’s address so I can write him a letter and tell him that bone structure, bone mass, and bone density varies amongst our species. I’m not talking about fat, Ms. Daisy, I’m talking about big azz bones! LOL!
    iscream says:
    @ Daisy comment 15 its early, in my mind the sun hasn’t even rose yet. But I know I said he represents what’s wrong not that he is what’s wrong.
    Like I said before I don’t care about the size of the next person. I’m satisfied with my weight. Whatever that may be because I don’t weigh myself. As long as my s/o aint complaining and after all this time still can’t keep his hands off me, I’m good.
    Weight in hollywood is a double standard. Kristie Allen said it best when she said how Tony Soprano gets love while she gets shuned.
  27. 27
    KaraZ says:
    KayCeiSoul, agreed :D and I agree with you on big bones, they do exist, just look at Serena Williams.
  28. 28
    iscream says:
    How’d you do that kara?
    :D
    :smile:
    @ Daisy, I just read that Jill man dumped her for his ex.. If true that’s foul and makes me wonder how long before she got with him did they break up.
    @Ice SHUT UP and SAY WORD! Jill seemed to be at peace with the situaton. I would love if her and her ex hubby re married.
    terika83 says:
    I don’t think Ne-yo was saying big girls don’t get any love but he asked the girl what audience she was trying to portray to and depending on that, it’s true that an up and coming artist would have two diff. routes to take depending on their decision. Messed up but the truth.
    @ KayCi thanks but on the SK I have no pointer :D
    @ Daisy Word (that is so 90′s, lol) that’s the word that’s out. Her post partum (sp) sent him to the arms of another. & I saw that tatoo she got on the back of her ear. How are you going to tatoo his name on you when he didn’t even put his last name on yours? Thought Jill was more sane than that. Guess we all get a little weak for our mens….
    Wait, would you consider Jill a pop star? She is a big woman doing the damn thing.
  34. 34
    Daisy says:
    @Ice HECK NO Jill is far from pop.lol I saw what site you got that story from and I dont believe anythng they post..lol I have ALL of Jills cd you know she is straight r&b and neo soul..lol
    I am a product of the 90s and I have issues letting things go at times..lol
  35. 35
    Daisy says:
    @Isc Lauryn Hill proved that we all get weak for men..lol Bless her heart!
  36. 36
    wiggy2272003 says:
    not saying Jill Scott is a pop star but you can be an r & B singer and still be a pop star. Usher, Prince and MJ, Mariah Beyonce just to name a few
  37. 37
    Deep Thoughts says:
    Lol how these women think they deserve so much and some perfect guy when they won’t even be particular to lose weight, isn’t that funny.
