Celeb Real Estate: Steve McNair’s House
This “gigantic” 14,000 sq. ft. mansion is the home of the late NFL star Steve McNair and his wife Mechelle. The home is located at 2430 Bear Road in the exclusive Woodmont Estates in Green Hills, a suburb of Nashville.
The two-story mansion boasts 9 bedrooms, 9 1/2 baths, movie theater and 3 car garage.
The McNairs put the house on the market for $3 million probably around the time Mechelle found out Steve was cheating on her with a 20-year-old waitress. Both McNair’s names are on the deed.
The original purchase price was $1,599,000 back in 2004. The listing price is $3,800,000. But according to the realtor’s website, you get a $800,000 discount and a Steve McNair autographed football if you act quickly (no joke).

And sadly this man wasn’t quite satisfied with HIS HOME and HIS WIFE & HIS FAMILY and went Running-Around with a chick He obviously didn’t KNOW NEARLY ENOUGH ABOUT until it was way too late to do ANYTHING about it

That if the wife wants to live there, I know I wouldnt all those memories, and it will just feel weird
well now when it sells mechelle can keep the dough. or as someone else stated she can stay if she wants to.
that football that is thrown in as part of the sell is prolly worth a little more now too.

If the couple had the homeowner insurance that pays off the mortgage upon the death of one or more of the owners, then Mrs. McNair will be alright.

I’m just glad the wife and kids won’t have to suffer financially…..not only does she get the insurance money, pension, stocks, etc…whatever is left to her in the will, she’s a NURSE!! Great back up plan, those children never have to worry. And I hope all four of those boys learn from their daddy’s mistakes…..Don’t get married until you’re ready to be faithful to ONE woman only!
3 mill seems like a good deal….she will proabbly have to move….nobody has decent insurance anymore everyone think they will live forever

Because of the positioning of the gun(under her body) we figued she did it. Plus she was shot once in the temple. If it were an outsider(crime of passion) both would have been shot mulitple times.
So will this qualify for a episode on “Snapped” in the near future since they went to hour-long episodes…

…snapped is a whole hour long now??? i gotta get my cable back ASAP. i axed it in a cost cutting measure but miss it like the daggone dickens. and hour long snapped is reason to get it BACK.
and my 4 yo thinks noggin is the reason to get it back…NOT.
noggin is the business they have all the cool shows, lol. with my kids thats all the tv stay on

LMAO thats my kid now! she loves noggin!!! whats messed up it in my area its not Basic cable! i have to keep it upgraded to keep noggin!!! if i didnt have any kids i wouldnt even have cable and watch my shows online! alas

i’d play the dumb roll too til i got that check in my hand. i bet alot of athlete mistresses got cut off this week after this one!
#11 most people are too dumb to get that type insurance on their property.
@ pinthimout, I have it. When I had my private law practice in NJ, I advised all my Real Estate clients to purchase this type of insurance.
