Does Janet Jackson Seem Happier Without JD?
Since the news broke about Janet Jackson’s split from producer and longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, does she seem happier to you? I can’t help but notice how youthful and content she seems in these pics taken in Milan, Italy yesterday.
I’ve always thought of Janet (and her older sister Rebbie) as the most stable Jacksons. So it seemed odd that she would want to be with a cheating dog like JD who obviously was using her to elevate his own status.
When Janet and JD were together she looked tired, old and wary in her pictures.. She also looked like she had reconciled herself to the fact that he just wasn’t going to do right by her — and she couldn’t do any better. She displayed the same stoic resignation in her longterm relationship with her ex-husband Rene.
Suffering in silence while your man sows his wild oats is a learned behavior that she obviously picked up from her mom, Katherine.
The entire industry knows that it was JD who (along with MTV) helped ruined Janet’s career by orchestrating that disastrous nipple stunt during halftime of Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004.
But love, like alcohol and drugs, is a very unrelenting addiction. You really can’t see the damage it causes until you kick the habit for good.

She teamed back with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who wouldn’t be happy. There dad’s love child will be on Entertainment Tonight(tonight).

From what I remember she was extremely happy with JD. Of course over time feelings can fade but I think her new look is what is making her look different. since her breast isn’t overly exposed you can foucus on how beautiful her face is again.
I’m loving the look and I hope she sticks to it. Her brothers death may also have played a part in her change of appereance.

I thought her and JD were such a cute couple and I’m hoping they get bk together as a couple but I always thohgt they should not work together. Janet looks so nice in these pics, I love her hair and purse. And if she doesn’t have Joe Jackson written all over her face. Gosh she looks just like that man.
Janet is probably slowly getting around to being happier in her life. JD was too immature for her, always following her around with cameras, and posting on You Tube. Sorry but there is probably some peace with Michael death, not worrying about the vultures taking advantage of him. As well as not worrying about his drug habit.
I am and will always be a Janet Jackson fan. From the moment she did her Mae West impression on her brother’s show, to Good Times, to her first album Young Love. I am a Janet fan!!! She has always remained positive and classy through all her situations.

alright, who didn’t tell janet her pants were unzipped? All I know is the look–looks great on her. JD was a let me down, depressing all who had to see them together. Thank God she came to her senses(sp) and dumped that clown.
