Stroller Hit By Train; Baby Survives

A 6-month-old baby in Australia survived being run over by a train because he was strapped securely into his baby stroller.

The baby’s mother was temporarily distracted by an oncoming train as she waited on an elevated train platform. Her baby son’s stroller rolled off the platform and onto the tracks just as the train ran over it. Grainy video shows the mother desperately reaching for her baby and nearly being hit by the train herself. She then screams hysterically as onlookers walk away in shock.

To the Mothers — ONE Question

Could this EVER happen to you and Yours ???

I personally would never stand CLOSE ENOUGH to something that destructive with My CHILD (And I’m a Father…)

@ E Love : I’m with you. PLUS who doesn’t put the brake on out of habit. I dunno, I need more proof for this one. That stroller was rolling too easily for it not to be pushed or going downhill. AND dragged 200 feet under a train on the tracks YET only a bump? Questionable. If this was true then I’m glad the babe is okay but, I’m going to need mommy not to be so careless.

i am not gonna talk about her cause not like she was on the phone or running her yap…she saw the train coming and was gathering her stuff…

@ELove, she wasn’t standing close to the train, she was touching the wall of the station; the stroller rolled away from her, it took 4 seconds for this incident to happen & she tried to jump in after him but was stopped by the train.

Thank God the child is okay. It’s not easy raising a child, especially when you don’t have 24/7 help

I’m an EXTREMELY cautious individual when it comes to CHILDREN and I would’ve waited inside the station UNTIL the train came pulling up BEFORE I started doing anything towards getting ready to board the train …

SAFETY PASSAGE is my motto & being in a hurry isn’t an option

But AGAIN, That’s just HOW I AM

I KNOW fully about rearing a child… Y’all single FEMALE parents are NO DIFFERENT than me because I was a single MALE parent (Trust-n-Believe)

SHE wasn’t Mother-material and the GREAT THING about that is SHE KNEW she wasn’t also… THUS me having to assume Far More than the traditional Father-Parent role-n-responsibilities

I won’t judge her either Kwall being a parent is not easy and I’m sure she didn’t mean to put her child in harms way. I didn’t see the video but I still won’t judge.

You just never know. I remember a story where a lady got out her car, thought it was in park and it wasn’t. I believe she was trying to take the baby out the car, and some how the baby fell and the car ran over her. That story still brings tears to my eyes.

    Hey family,

It also looked like the platform floor had a slight angle to it, that caused the baby to roll……I was wondering how that happened…..God is truly good!

@ELove, I’m not a parent, this birthing canal is not pushing out any children until I have a ring, life insurance policy & nanny.

Isc parents have also left kids in the car by accident I remember the lady on Oprah was a teacher or principle and left the baby n the car thinking she had dropped her off at daycare already sadly the baby died she was so pitiful on Oprah

    KaraZ says:

I’m dead serious about the nanny, my mom had a nanny when we were little, my sisters both do to… Hats off to folks who raise children sans help, paid or unpaid, because I don’t think I could do it & maintain my sanity.

  27. 27

karaz what exactly do u mean by nanny? like a baby sitter, or someone who lives with u in your house to help take care of the child.

I saw this on the news this morning and I mean by the grace of God that baby was still alive. He should have been hurt just from the tumble onto the tracks alone.

Why wouldn’t she put the brakes on the stroller?? My husband said if that was his baby she would need to sleep with one eye open.

    mirsmommy says:

God is definitely good. The brakes were always on, on my son’s stroller when it wasn’t in motion.
