Wanda and Sheneneh Jenkins team up to make a movie?
Comedians Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx are teaming up to bring their female characters to the big screen! This should be hilarious! I laughed out loud at the mock trailer for “SKank Robbers” that the duo made to air during the BET Awards.
Screen Gems has acquired “Sheneneh and Wanda,” a comic vehicle for Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence to star in a comic caper film, playing female characters they developed during their stand up comedy days.
Foxx will write the script and he and Martin will produce together through Foxx’s Foxxhole and Lawrence’s Runtelldat production banners.
The project originated as a parody of a movie trailer for a film called “Skank Robbers,” which Foxx and Lawrence made for the BET Awards. The reaction was strong enough that the duo decided to turn the concept into a real film.
In the comedy, Sheneneh and Wanda are modern day independent women trying to make it on their own, one bank robbery at a time.

It has str8 to DVD written all over it. Law Abiding Citizen and then stepping down to this is not the way to go, Jamie. It should stop at the BET awards. It premiered at the BET awards. Need I say more?

i agree with most of y’all and i think that this can be funny but i hope they can translate it into an hour to two hour movie…we shall see
The key is to have a good script and better writers. It may pass…on the other hand it can be a an EPIC FAIL! I hope it works, but you know somethings are better left as is.
I know they will make it work, but in reality Wanda is too dumb to hang with Shenene. I don’t know if I could watch Wanda for 2 hours. She’s quite hideous. I’d rather see Shenene with Madea.

@ 11 I am not surprised. I have my doubts about this. I was hoping he wrote a book. This all says some sort of conspiracy. Not that he is completely innnocent but this is a lil shady. Why the rush to silence the man. Dude was smart & not to mention he used to work for the military. Remember I said the USA manufactures there own killers but when you turn against them they will take you down.

Wow – I’d have to see this mess on bootleg AND the bootleg would have to be free.
I mean, we diss Tyler Perry, but folks would miss a day of work for THIS? I don’t get it… I mean, say what you want about Tyler’s predictable storyline, but any plot about redemption, second-chances, etc.. has to be better than watching this mess for two hours.

I’m dipping. The DC Sniper will get executed tonight, what he did happened in ’02′, it’s ’09. I live in Ohio and we have had ppl on death row for over 20 yrs., some got a “stay” this yr and had law suits pending left and right because it was deemed inhumane to execute by way of lethal injection because they couldn’t find a vein. WTF?
I really don’t see this translating into a full length movie either. But the clip at the BET awards was hilarious!
