A wise man once said “The love of money is the root of all evil.”
This party should have been themed “Wasteful Extravagance” rather than “Prince of NY”. At a time when Haiti earthquake victims are still buried under rubble, one of the entertainment industry’s most shameless narcissists, Sean “Diddy” Combs and his first baby mama, celebrity stylist Misa Hylton, threw an over-the-top 16th birthday party for their son Justin Dior Combs over the weekend.
Sean must have known how insensitive this frivolous brag-fest would look so he made a show of presenting Justin with a $10,000 check which he donated to the Haiti relief efforts. But we know that $10,000 was an afterthought because the party itself had to cost ten times that amount.
EDITED:
Justin arrived in a chauffeured Bentley with rapper Nicki Minaj as his date. After the party, Justin left the club in his own $360,000 chauffeur-driven Maybach — which probably went back to the dealer the next day after being used as a prop like Sean uses his children.
The entire affair was filmed for MTV’s Super Sweet 16. It’s probably just as well that none of the big name stars who were invited bothered to show up. Who could compete with Sean’s enormous ego?

Im sure Diddy donated to Haiti, and actually other blogs are reporting that Justin asked that his money his dad gave him go to Haiti as well as having the guests donate. Not all children that are raised by rich parents turn out bad. It seems to me that Justin doesnt have his dad’s self-centered personality at all, he seems quiet, shy and actually humble considering who his dad is. Give him a break already…
I’m sure Diddy has pledged a lot of money to the Haiti relief efforts. Not to mention he was a part of the cnn telethon where he got people to donate lots of money to receive items from himself and other celebs ($5k for larry king suspenders)- he was hustling hard as usual. If he was to state how much he gave himself people would accuse him of bragging about it and being a narcissist.

Hey SR fam. Im up now feeling refreshed…I see the whole click debate was started again? Oh well…some people will always gravitate towards others, I dont think any harm is meant…some people just mesh with others more. All I know is that you guys get me through my days and nights at work.
OK, just got back from feeding my elderly friends and I’m pissed. A tree fell and knocked the lights out and the back up generator went out. I called the families and one of the ladies daughters came to get her but the other family members refused. I’m so mad that I couldn’t bring her home because I live on the 2nd floor. They have to evacuate tonight or the remaining folks have to go to a shelter. I’m so mad right now.

The lights have been out since 2pm. I go in there at 5-6pm to feed them but my mom is there from 7am-1pm. They should have called someone in between that time. I’m mad that the other one’s family isn’t coming. I also don’t understand why they have to go to a shelter. The one’s that live in the section where I have dinner with them pay $8000-$10000 a month to live there so what’s the problem? I could never imagine doing my mom like that. Other peoples parents were there at the drop of a dime.
That’s messed up. I don’t like to hear stories like this. What was the reason they didn’t want to come get their family member?
I’m not sure but I know that I will not sleep well tonight
