Sexy Latin Singer in Critical Condition
According to online reports, Latin heartthrob Luis Miguel (who used to date Mariah) is in critical condition at Cedars Sinai hospital in L.A. after a botched lipo surgery caused an infection that rapidly spread to his his internal organs, including his lungs.
The 39-year-old was secretly admitted to Cedars 3 days ago and his management has tried to keep publicity to a minimum. But Perez has spies everywhere.
The infection spread so rapidly that doctors have run out of IV antibiotics to treat it. Unfortunately, that sounds like a superbug of the MRSA variety that runs rampant in hospitals. Let’s hope that’s not what it is.
Luis Miguel was extremely popular in my college years in Miami, Florida back in the 80s. He won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album (Aries) in 1993.
Miguel turns 40 on Monday.

I remember him. He’s well known ala Marc Anthony in their genre of music and he did go with Mariah for quite some time. I wish he well.
WOW…I just read up on him!! His discography & tours were crazy!! That is a long list of accomplishments…I pray he gets better! It would be sad for him to go out over some lipo!

@CHB, many men in the industry get laser-lipo to maintain their physiques, LL was rumored to have gotten lipo sculpting a few years back
I just re-read that article in Marie Claire a few issues ago when they were talking about women getting cosmetic surgery done by uncertified doctors.
If you can die from a boqard certified person doing this…then there is no way in H3LL someone in a rented out studio apartment in Maine that can’t speak english is getting near me.

i dont understand how some people would let a person perform surgery on them with a knife they just used to cut steak and patch them up with a needle laying around and dusty tread
People underestimate the dangers of lipo. It has always been a dangerous procedure. That’s really sad though. Hope his condition improves.
Mariah lost her damn mind over him. It was after their break up that she had that big melt down.
I hope he gets well soon and has a speedy recovery.

My semester is in full gear right now and I’ve been attending job fairs/networking all over the place.
I interviewed today with a Senator’s office. The job is perfect and the interview couldn’t have gone better. But once again I think the whole having kids and not being able to go all kinds of places late in the evening or on weekends might end up costing me the position.
The job is exactly what I want and what I am qualified for and the interviewer knows it. I could see it in her eyes that I was perfect for the job but for my schedule conflicts with long evening/weekend hours.
Oh well, on to the next one….
I read about this yesterday.

Ok, not really but this man is huge…like Elvis huge, Michael huge, a living legend and women go pollo loco for him (a la Mariah, lol)! I really hope he pulls through this is not the way this man needs to go. He has 2 little babies!
