Correction: According to Gabrielle Union…

After I posted this story about actress Gabbrielle Union’s “new man”, she quickly took to her Twitter page to clarify the situation. It seems that the man photographed shopping with Gabby in the “Meatpacking” district of NY is actually a close friend of hers, who just happens to be gay.

Unfortunately, I don’t spend a lot of time on Twitter, so Gabby’s tweet to me got lost in the clutter that is my timeline.

Gabrielle tweeted during game 6 that she was working. Only big stars can get a procuction to shut down for them. Were talking 10s of thousands of dollars that go into each day of shooting. She also went on to congratulate Dallas, while swearing Mia would be back next year. I doubt they’ve broken up.

Homewrecking may be outdated, but whoring sure isn’t. I am a believer in true love conquers all, maybe gullible, but that is how I feel. If they were really in love, they would have waited until the ink was dry. You can’t move forward in one relationship if the other one is not done. IMO, just because you choose not to date while waiting for your divorce tom become does not mean you are letting life pass you by. What if the relationship turns serious? The other woman has to wait how ever long it takes for the divorce can be final for them to start their life together. I think anytime after a breakup, reflection time is needed. Even if you are not at fault, it is a chance to also see what you can improve.

It is about respecting yourself. Most people wouldn’t mess with a man that is married and lives at home with his wife, but have no problem messing with a man simply because he’s moved out of the home. Go figure.

How do we know D Wade didn’t take time to reflect? His divorce took YEARS! I don’t think he should have to wait until the ink was dry to move on. Is the situation ideal dating a separated man who is really going through a divorce (who has actually filed and is waiting on the legal course of action) NO but it happens everyday and sometimes those same couples go on to live happily ever after forever. I think there is a diff and I dont think Gabby did anything disrespectful she was a wife as well before I think she respects marriage
