Lil Wayne doesn’t like his cover of Eminem’s “Stan” (we don’t either)

Finally, there’s a song Lil Wayne sings that he himself doesn’t like.

In his cover story for XXL magazine, Weezy said he didn’t like his remix of Eminem’s ode to stalkers “Stan”, titled “Dear Anne”. “I had been listening to it and didn’t like it,” he told XXL. “I don’t like it ‘cause the song, all the verses are old. And me being a perfectionist, I hate going with old verses.”

At least he’s honest. But I have news for you Lil Wayne: ALL of your music sounds like garbage! It’s good that you finally noticed.

It makes you wonder if he goes into the recording booth with cotton wadding stuffed into his ears.

Wayne’s right hand man Mack Maine and manager Cortez Bryant have expressed different sentiments. “Mack and Tez and them, they love it,” he said. “They be like ‘Man, you trippin, you killed it.’ I be like, ‘Did you hear what I just said? I don’t wanna do that anymore.’ But I heard that the ‘Anne’ song has been getting buzzed up and everybody’s buzzin’ about it so it might end up one of those you might have to put on the album, you know what I mean. But I ain’t trippin’ on it like that; I don’t like the song. I love the beat; I love the idea. I don’t like my execution. I don’t like what I did, I don’t like how I delivered on it. The idea that I had for it, I didn’t accomplish that, what I thought I was gonna do. ‘Cause I was tryna make it a situation song. And I just don’t like it.”

Amber Rose says those stories about her reality show getting dropped are all lies

Former professional beard Amber Rose says her reality TV show was not dropped by VH1 — and to prove it, she called the paparazzi so they could shoot her while she was being filmed for her reality show. Whether the show will wind up on VH1′s Winter 2011 schedule depends on a few factors — such as public interest.

My spies tell me that Amber’s reality show is “still in the production stage” — meaning that Amber suckered some fool persuaded an investor to put up a boatload of cash to pay the cameramen their strict union wages. And, I’m told that neither VH1 hasn’t shut the door completely on Amber’s aspirations to remain relevant. VH1 just doesn’t think anyone cares about watching a reality show with Amber in it.

But in meetings with VH1 on the west coast last month, Amber pointed out that her half million followers on Twitter adore her (which means nothing). She also took to her Twitter page to convince her followers to come out and see her when she mixes milkshakes at at Millions of Milkshakes today. She hopes that her fans will convince VH1 to pick up her show.

New Music: Chris Brown & Bow Wow – I’m Da Man

I’m only posting this track because troubled singer Chris Brown is rapping on it and trying to sound hard, lol.

Medical Minute: Graves’ Disease (Missy Elliot related)

Rapper/songwriter Missy Elliot is in the news after announcing she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease in 2008.

Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder that is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism. An autoimmune disorder is when the body’s immune system (antibodies) attacks your body because it doesn’t recognize it’s own cells. The antibodies stimulate the thyroid gland (the gland at the base of your neck that secretes growth hormones) and causes the thyroid to go into overdrive (hyperthyroidism).

Graves’ disease is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism in children and adolescents. When the disease occurs later in life, it is assumed that the cause is an infection that is viral or bacterial. The signs and symptom’s of Graves’ disease depends upon whether the hyperthyroidism is mild or severe.

In Missy’s case, it sounds like her hyperthyroidism was severe enough to affect her neurologically. The major signs of Graves’ disease are an enlarged goiter (your neck will be noticeably enlarged), exophthalmos (protruding eyeballs) or “bug eyes” (due to the antibodies irritating the muscles of the eyes) and skin changes.

Chris Brown’s goons run up on Twitter gangster, Frank Ocean

In case you don’t know, Frank Ocean is a singer/songwriter out of California who is also a member of the eccentric Odd Future Collective. He’s worked with such big names as Beyonce and Kanye West in the studio. But Frank’s biggest claim to fame is going toe-to-toe with troubled singer Chris Brown on Twitter.com.

Well, Brown’s cousins caught up with Frank yesterday and they asked him to “take the fade.” I’m assuming “take the fade” means to get out of his expensive ride in the middle of the street and take a beat down.

Not surprisingly, Frank, 23, declined their invitation to scrap — presumably because he didn’t have his keyboard or monitor with him for protection.

Michael Lohan: “Lindsay needs rehab, not jail time” *Updated*

Scroll down for updates…

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has a court date this morning that will determine whether she goes to jail or continues on house arrest in her luxury $2.25 million 3,000-square-foot townhouse in Venice, CA.

At issue are a couple of alcohol tests that came up positive last week. Lindsay will go before the same judge who threatened her with jail time if she violated her probation again… or was that the judge before this one? It’s so hard keeping up with all the judges, the rehabs, the ankle monitors and the second chances that this girl gets.

But even though Lindsay is a chronic substance abuser for whom drug rehab has failed in the past — her dad, Michael Lohan, still believes she needs drug rehab rather than prison time. Like typical enablers, Lohan blames Lindsay’s friends for all her problems:

“There’s a chubby English girl named Nikki who is always around her and when she is, I get a sick feeling and there is always a problem,” Lohan told PopEater’s Rob Shuter.

Last week Lindsay threw a party on her roof for a small group of friends. She was drinking out of a red cup, but a bottle of beer and wine glasses can clearly be seen in the photos (below).

When interviewed for Life & Style magazine, Lindsay said, “When my friends come over, they’re not drinking. Alcohol is not in my house, so it’s not part of my life.”

“I’m so worried about my daughter,” Michael Lohan told Radar Online. “I’m very, very concerned about the people around Lindsay and the pressure being put upon her. If it turns out that the test was positive, then I have strong concerns because if a person can’t stay straight in the house where can she stay straight?”

Update: Lindsay Lohan does not have to go to jail. A judge today ordered Lohan to stop partying while on house arrest. According to People.com, the judge chided Lohan for making “a party atmosphere” out of her home confinement. She was ordered to limit the number of visitors she has at one time in her home. The judge didn’t revoke Lohan’s home confinement or toss her in jail because her court ordered alcohol testing ended in February.
