She got away with murder, but a homeless Casey Anthony faces an uncertain future

After three years in jail, the most hated woman in the world, Casey Anthony, was released during the early morning hours of Monday. “Her future is uncertain and an uphill battle as she re-enters society,” says CNN.com. “Death threats and unkind words abound in the social media realm.”

The “I hate Casey Anthony” Facebook page has more than 45,000 fans; the “F— Casey Anthony” page has more than 775,000, according to CNN.com.

A woman mistaken for Casey Anthony was nearly run over by an Oklahoma woman driving a minivan last week.

“Is Casey Anthony in danger?” blared the newspaper headlines this morning.

Anthony was ordered held without bail 3 years ago when it seemed certain that the state of Florida had enough evidence to convict her for the brutal death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. The toddler’s skeletal remains was found in a wooded area near her family home on December 11, 2008. Her head was wrapped in duct tape.

Woman Attacks Judge in the Courtroom

It isn’t often that a judge is attacked while presiding over a court proceeding. If such attacks do occur, there’s rarely any video footage — until now.

Melissa Hardwick was agitated even before she lunged for judge Jennifer Edward’s neck during a juvenile court hearing on Wednesday (July 13). Mrs. Hardwick’s ex-husband had dragged her into court for violating a previous court order. Despite the judge’s warning that she would be placed in contempt of court, Hardwick continued her ranting.

So judge Edwards sentenced Hardwick to 10 days in jail — and with a flick of her wrist, she dismissed Hardwick, telling her “Go now.” That’s when the upset mother sprang into action, leaping across the startled judge’s bench at her.

“I’ve worked here for 31/2 years and this is the first time anything that serious has ever happened,” said Wayne County security officer Adam Dodson, who got to Hartwick first and wrestled her to the floor.

Hardwick ended up with cuts and scratches on her face, and Dodson got a few pats on his back.

“I had to use the right amount of physical force to stop her actions,” he said. “We’re quite a bit prepared for next time.”

Twitter FAIL: More Proof That Chris Brown Hates Women (video)

Troubled singer Chris Brown took to his Twitter page over the weekend to throw yet another public tantrum. This time, the target of his wrath was conservative journalist and Fox News analyst Laura Ingraham. Her mistake was having an opinion and calling him a narcissist, which he is. Ingraham also took offense to the fact that NBC’s Today Show invited Brown to sing on its popular concert series last week.

“Is that actually singing?,” Ingraham asked.

She added: “Chris Brown beat his girlfriend to a pulp. He uses the N-word, the C-word, the S-word, the most degrading misogynistic lyrics… yet he’s treated like royalty!”

Instead of ignoring her, or making light of the fact that she would even bother to breathe his name, Brown did what he normally does when he feels disrespected — he lashed out in a very juvenile manner because his feelings were out. He took care to mention that his haters (mostly white females) were “old” — as if he doesn’t plan on ever aging.

Deion and Pilar Sanders celebrates his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Deion “Primetime” Sanders, 43, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame recently. So the former Florida State alumni and Atlanta Falcons standout came to back to Atlanta, where it all started for him, to celebrate his milestone achievement.

According to Tami of Talkingwithtami.com, Primetime’s wife, Pilar, reality star Chilli, and numerous football players, past and present, came out to support their friend. The gala was held at the 200 Peachtree venue in downtown Atlanta, where red and black attire (Falcons colors) were a “strict” dress code requirement.

Deion and his stunning wife Pilar were decked out in coordinating outfits. Deion wore a burgundy shirt, black pinstriped suit with red buttons and a red, paisley-print tie. Pilar wore a black, flowing, backless evening gown with black designer stilettos. The mother of 3 looked fabulous!

In keeping with Deion’s infamous overinflated ego, a boxing announcer stood on the red carpet to (loudly) announce the arrival of Primetime and his large entourage of family, friends and staff, who showed up on a decked out custom bus. Also in attendance were former Atlanta Braves great, Brian Jordan, and his expectant wife; TLC singer Chilli and her latest catch; and R&B singer Keith Sweat, who performed at the event.

Woman shoots at pit bull but misses, kills husband instead

Police are considering filing charges against a Texas woman who shot her husband to death while attempting to kill a pit bull puppy.

Betty Walker claims she was aiming at a pit bull puppy that had lunged at neighborhood children.

Her husband Robert Walker, 53, had scooped the puppy up just moments before his wife retrieved a .38 revolver pistol from inside the house and fired two shots — while Mr. Walker was holding the dog.

One shot hit the puppy in its left foreleg. Another shot hit her husband, a retired seismic engineer, in his upper right chest.

Mr and Mrs Walker of Houston, Texas were visiting their son Robert Walker Jr and their grandchildren at his South Jackson, Mississippi home. The subject of the puppy came up more than once during their visit.

‘One day that dog’s gonna jump that fence,’ Mr Walker Jr remembers his father saying.

The puppy, named Cocaine, was kept in a fenced-in backyard enclosure. His owner, Lazarius Montgomery, said the dog was too small to jump the 4′ chain link fence by itself.

Mr Montgomery’s cousin, Robert Ferguson, said Cocaine couldn’t have escaped from the backyard on her own even she wanted to. “Somebody had to pick her up out the gate,” he said. “Ain’t no way she could’ve got out the gate. She can’t jump the gate, she’s just eight-months, a puppy,” he added.

Witnesses backed up his claims, telling WLBT TV there had been no attack at the time of the shooting.

Mrs. Walker’s son, Robert Walker Jr., said he went upstairs to lay down when he heard two shots.

“I jumped out of bed and I heard my momma scream,” he told police. “She was screaming, ‘Your daddy’s been shot! Your daddy’s been shot!’ ”

Assuming a robbery had occurred, the son ran to his pickup truck in search of his pistol.

Now his mother was screaming: “I shot your daddy! I shot your daddy!”
