It doesn't matter that Lil Wayne's 4th CD Carter IV is garbage, it can't be ignored that he somehow managed to sell almost a million albums in one week. Plus the fact that no other rapper even comes close to his sales this year, so that should account for something.

Yesterday, BET announced its list of nominations for the 2011 Hip Hop Awards, including 18 nominations for the rap gremlin.

Once again Sandrarose.com was ignored in the best blog category. We didn't even get a mention for the Hustler of the Year award, which we feel we deserve. Not that we care but we thought we would mention the diss.

See the full list of nominees after the break!

Last night it seemed that NBA mega star Kobe Bryant had become the latest narcissist NBA star to join the wildly popular social networking website Twitter.com. (Raise your hand if you thought Kobe was already on Twitter).

Within the first hour of joining Twitter, the NBA's bad boy racked up over 18K followers. His @KobeBryant Twitcon was a pic of a black mamba swallowing the iconic tweety bird.

But just a mere two hours after Bryant announced his arrival on Twitter in spectacular fashion -- his account was suspended, then deleted. So what happened?

According to super groupie Jill of Jocks and Stilleto Jill blog:

ABC released candid shots of transgender individual Chaz Bono in the dance studio with dance partner Lacey Schwimmer. Bono's addition to the upcoming season of 'DWTS' resulted in a storm of protest from ABC's viewers.

In an interview with ABC News last week, Bono said America "really needs to see" a transgender individual on 'Dancing With The Stars'. How narcissistic of Chaz to say that.

Despite all the vicious hate mail I've received on this issue, I refuse to refer to Bono as a man. I will not feed into her delusions in order to be politically correct. Being a man is not as easy as taking hormone shots to grow a beard or wearing a wife beater every day.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney thinks the time is right for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to run against U.S. President Barack Obama.

Mr. Obama's approval numbers have tanked to the lowest level of his presidency amid reports that he plans to sink another $300 billion into a flawed jobs package that will send the national debt soaring even higher.

Obama's prospects in 2012 don't look good. Even Obama's fellow Democrats are sprinting away from him as the chorus of "Run, Hillary, run!" grows ever louder.

Cheney stopped short of endorsing Hillary Clinton for president during an interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl yesterday. “I think she’s probably the most competent person they’ve got in their -– in their cabinet," he said. "And -– frankly, I thought she was gonna win the nomination last time around," he added.

“Maybe if -– the Obama record is bad enough -– and these days it’s not very good, given the shape of the economy maybe there will be enough ferment -– in the Democratic Party so that there will be a primary on their side.”

If Hillary decided to run in 2012 she would certainly have the support of the rabidly leftist media on her side -- especially now that they've put down their cups of Kool aid.

R&B singer Ciara was photographed wearing the American flag as a cardigan as she left her hotel in New York City yesterday. CiCi's fashion choice is sure to cause controversy especially so close to September 11. She should really know better.

Amber Rose was seen cheesing and waving to the paparazzi as she left Opening Ceremony in West Hollywood, CA yesterday. Amber has truly let herself go. She shows us why she will never again be considered one of the flyest beards in Hollywood. Such a pity...

I realized how some people in this society can recognize most talked about celebrity's birthdays. Not to mention artist's that have made history in music period. Well today is Eazy E's birthday and I would like to personally ask can you add Eazy apart of sandrarose. Not bc he is a talented artist, bc he deserve the recognition and respect. Out of all the industry conspiracy,Eazy is still a legend. Most important, having caught HIV and prolonged AIDS- which I still doubt he died of, its important to get the message out in the community to wrap it up and be safe. Eazy would it, who wouldnt want someone to be safe. As a huge Eazy fan/supporter his kids would great appreciate the respect and recognition because not everyone is recognized.

Thanks, Raquel

Carmelo Anthony and La La Vazquez Anthony were spotted leaving the 'Live with Regis and Kelly' show in the rain in NYC this morning. The couple discussed their reality show, La La's Full Court Life, with Regis and Kelly. Am I the only one who notices how bored Carmelo looks on the reality show? He doesn't come across as an attention-grabbing sort of man. But La La, on the other hand...

Bow Wow's baby mama, Joie Chavis, who goes by the Twitter handle @Miss_Joie, tweeted these pics of her and Bow Wow's seed, Shai Chavis-Wow. Shai is 5-months-old and we're just now noticing she has a strawberry birth mark on her forehead.

The happy tyke lives with Shai, who is collecting modest child support payments from Bow despite rumored reports that he's flat broke. Maybe if he stopped spending his money on nonsense...
