CONFIRMED! Stacey Dash is Leaving VH1?s ‘Single Ladies’ *STATEMENT*

Remember all that hoopla a few weeks ago about Stacey Dash being booted from VH1?s popular new series “Single Ladies”?

And after Stacey’s co-star Lisa Raye took time away from her Italian vacation to comment on the situation, it was apparent to everyone that the story was way more than just a rumor.
Well unfortunately it appears there was some truth to all that internet chatter.
Dash is officially leaving ‘Single Ladies’ and has issued a statement regarding her departure…
I truly enjoyed playing Val on ‘Single Ladies’, but I have decided to leave the show. I have to be back in LA with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location makes that impossible.
I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show and in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in season one.
VH1 also issued a statement, which reads:
VH1 respects Stacey’s decision and her commitment to what she feels is best for her family.
We thank her for all of her hard work in making ‘Single Ladies’ a success right out of the gate, and we wish her nothing but the best in her future plans. (source)
In my previous post, I asked if you would miss Stacey if she left the show and many of you stated that a show without Stacey would be no show… apparently VH1 feels otherwise.

Can’t hear the song but I like lil mama. In a industry where almost everyone is over sexed its nice to see a young girl secure enough in herself to be herself.
She also showed MC Lyte love on twitter and I thought that was respect. More of these new artist need to pay homage to the people who paved the way for them.

Basically he called her ugly and manly more times than I could count for no reason at all. I LOVE Charlamagne, but I wanted his azz beat for that. Basically he sounded like a blog commenter except he spewed the foul, hurtful sh*t in person. At no time did Lil Mama come back at him when she was well within her rights to walk out. She got teary eyed when she started talking about her mama, but I truly felt she started talking about her mama because she wanted to cry and didn’t want it to seem like it was because of what Charlamagne was doing to her. She earned my respect that day because I woulda had my boys stomp him out for bullying a girl.
