BREAKING: Apple reports Steve Jobs has died

According to the Associated Press, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has died. He was 56.

In 2004, Jobs announced that he had been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his pancreas — one of the deadliest forms of cancer. Jobs resigned from Apple on August 24. In his resignation letter he said, the day had finally come when he could no longer perform his duties.

These pics always make me soooo sad because I remember when cancer did that to my grandpa, a slow, long, withering away, sad death. Until I saw that, I never understood what people meant when they said they were in a better place. But that suffering, is just too much. Prayers to his family. RIP Steve!

Prayers and condolences to the Jobs family. I lost my grandmother in 2000 to pancreatic cancer and it was an entirely too long 6 months watching her battle it out. I was relieved when. She finally “went home” because to me, nothing was worse than watching her suffer.

Its a shame that he died so young but at least he led a remarkable life while here.

    Redeemed777 says:

True great men inspire people to follow the Lord. That is all.

    Hitler
    Tupac
    Jobs
    Ghandi….etc…

all these men were ”great” in the eyes of man, but the men who are TRULY GREAT in the eyes of the Lord are the ones who do His commandments and inspire others to obey the Words of the Lord too.

  32. 32
    Redeemed777 says:

All the GREAT men and women of the Bible were GREAT because of their close relationship and OBEDIENCE to the WORD OF THE LORD JEHOVAH.

    annabraa says:

    @redeemed777
Really, you include Hitler on that list?

Your beliefs are your own, and you’re entitled to them, but there is no need to be disrespectful. A great man just died, and I’m sure he has a lot of loved ones who are grieving right now.

  36. 36
    Redeemed777 says:

    @annabraa

Yes I said Hitler was ” great in the eyes of THE WORLD ” , but guess what? He is burning in hell forever!

This steve jobs person was great in the eyes of the world.

He inspired technology….NOT the saving of souls.

Jobs & Hitler had two different kinds of ” greatness ”, but their ” greatness ” did not contribute to the work of the Lord- which is the saving of souls.

MIND YOU…the WORD of the LORD will come to pass-will stand forever- whether you like it or not, or believe it or not:

—–> 12 For the devising of idols was the beginning of spiritual fornication, and the INVENTION of them the corruption of life.

13 For neither were they from the beginning, neither shall they be for ever.

14 For by the VAIN GLORY OF MEN they entered into the world, and therefore shall they come shortly to an end.

    [ Wisdom of Solomon 14:12-14 ]

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

” good works ” in this context means doing the commandments and statues of God, AND spreading the truth of the Lord:

….NOT COMING OUT WITH NEW IPADS/IPODS/MACS every year for people to buy buy buy and keep buying till debt turns into death!

RIP Steve Jobs. A TRUE visionary of our time. He started Pixar, the company who put out the first computer animated movie, changed the way we view technology. In a way he DID save lives, the technology of Apple is probably used in the best hospital in the worlds. There was a commercial where I live where a doctor was using an IPhone to receive info about heart attack patients before they even reached the hospital. Oh, I would say he saved lives.

  44. 44

Thats right..real Genius’s and innovators. Moving us forward, one of the reason you are the internet right now…now LOL at at fact!

Point blank, you have nothing to contribute to this world but rhetoric that you cant even seem to get anyone on this message board to follow. You probably havent changed any lives let alone inspired. I work in the IT field, so I know first hand what this guy started in his lane.
If you want to be saved. Pixar alone has brought happiness and joy to millions of children. I havent even began to talk about Apple….

go to church if you want soul salvation

…just a reminder Doc, we are approaching Dark Ages, not leaving it.

    You haven’t seen nothing yet.

” When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”

11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.”

Im not lost…I just find it humorous you are saying “Technology won’t save you on the day of God’s wrath.” while typing on the internet.

I have a personal relationship with God. I also am able to send my older sister and mother money evey month because of the job I have that requires a degree in technology. Which by the way is the same industry that Steve Jobs helped pioneer.

Thats very true. I believe that, but dont act like you are about to throw your tv out the window…turn off the power and stop driving to work.
