We have more information for you on the birth of Beyonce’s first child from TMZ.com, and our Lenox Hill hospital source.
According to our source, Beyonce and her surrogate were admitted to the upper East side hospital on the same maternity floor. Other women in labor were also admitted to the floor despite rumors that Beyonce and Jay Z rented the entire floor for an absurd $1.3 million.
Our source said, “Lenox Hill does not turn away expectant mothers to cater to the needs of celebrities.”
The NY Daily News confirmed that Beyonce was admitted to the hospital under the name Ingrid Jackson. But we’re told the surrogate mother was also admitted to Lenox Hill under an assumed alias.
According to TMZ.com, hospital brass held a meeting leading up to the delivery to discuss a security plan for the birth. The meeting between execs and security was held Friday afternoon and strict security was in place almost immediately, preparing for the Saturday delivery.
Such an elaborate security plan was required to conceal the fact that Beyonce was not the one giving birth. Security cameras were taped over, or turned off — which is a violation of hospital policies.
Our source said the baby girl was delivered via c-section while the mother was given an epidural to block the pain. The birth mother was allowed to briefly hold the baby and then the baby was handed off to Beyonce who waited in an adjoining room.
The hospital source said Beyonce declined to be present in the delivery room during the birth. The baby’s name, Blue Ivy Carter, was chosen prior to her birth. It is presumed that the name is an amalgamation of Jay Z and Beyonce’s albums, Blueprint and 4 since IV is the Roman numeral symbol for the number 4.
Mystery and rumors surrounded the “pregnancy” of one of the most narcissistic pop singers in music history. Beyonce performed 4 sold out performances wearing a skimpy outfit in New York just 10 days before showing up obviously pregnant on the red carpet at the MTV Awards.
Since that time, Beyonce’s baby bump took on various shapes and sizes, and even appeared to collapse completely during an interview on an Australian TV show.
According to to our source, the birth mother will be secreted out of Lenox Hill hospital sometime Tuesday or Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beyonce will leave the hospital with the baby under heavy security either Monday or Tuesday.

Hospitals may not turn away patients, but best believe they will route their tail to another floor. Monet talks, everything else runs the marathon. Why does it matter if the baby came out of her cooch or someone else’s? It is clear she wanted a child and didn’t just get knocked up. Her and Jay have been together 10 years, married for 3.5. Starting from the name Ivy Blue (with said meaning), all the way back to the alleged fact that she attempted to fool the world into thinking she’s prego – that I do admit to believe. Before she was (allegedly) pregnant, she stated in an interview that child birth was her biggest fear, but DAMN …so much so to make her go through all this???
How many celebrities have taken bare skin photos showing their pregnant stomach? I think I can recall Demi Moore doin it back in the day. Nia Long just did it recently. If Beyonce could have deaded all this nonsense, I believe she would have …if only to dead the bullshit surrounding her unborn child.
I’m just saying …If only for the collapsing stomach vid, Beyonce (herself) can’t blame those who doubt her pregnancy. She wanted you to know so bad she announced it at the MTV awards, but then not even an attempt to put rumors to rest after such a grand announcement and greater foul up?

I used to work at Cornell, and trust me, they would never turn patients away just to accommodate the rich. Cornell has a special floor for the wealthy that looks like the inside of a country club with poster beds and everything is polished wood with paintings of yachts on the walls, etc. That’s the floor the wealthy stay on to separate them from us common folk in the hospital. But Beyonce and Jay Z wanted to inconvenience the common folk so that’s why they chose Lenox Hill. They didn’t rent an entire floor because no hospital would allow that.

I new here! Hi everyone. Glad to be here. I’ve been lurking forever and my account wasn’t validated yet so I couldn’t post. Anyhow, I just wanted to say I’m a complete believer about the Beyonce pg scandal. Too many things don’t add up frankly and I have no doubt in my mind that she used a surrogate. That stood out to me. I don’t believe that even most news agencies believe that she had a baby at all, but did “welcome” one.

The goal, keeping Beyonce’s delivery under wraps, succeeded admirably — no pictures of Bey or hubby Jay-Z entering or exiting the hospital have emerged … and she hasn’t been seen at all since Thursday.

Whether that baby came out of her cooch or someone else’s, she will be well loved and well taken care of. Jay Z not in and out of jail or you don’t hear about chicks calling Bey’s phone. As I explained to my young daughter; one COULD do that if a lion were chasing them. It’s not impossible, just not plausible. Which is why they have been super-secretive about this entire thing. It’s just soooo strange.
