At first I thought the headline read, “Michael Vick”. But this time it’s the Philadelphia Eagle’s star quarterback’s younger brother, Marcus Vick, who is in trouble with the law.

According to the Atlanta Journal, the former Virginia Tech and Miami Dolphins player was arrested Sunday in Newport News, VA, and jailed on charges of failing to appear in court to answer charges of driving with a suspended license.

Vick must spend at least 10 days in jail for ignoring court orders. After he serves his sentence, Vick will be transferred to Virginia’s Montgomery County, where he is wanted on another warrant for failing to appear for a civil case there.

Will those Vick boys ever learn? This is what happens when parents emphasize sports and material things over getting a good education.
