An arrest has been made in a shooting incident involving rapper NBA YoungBoy’s artist NBA Ben10 (real name Ben Anthony Fields). Detroit police arrested Jeremy Christopher Ford, aka rapper Allstar JR.

Ben10 is allegedly paralyzed from the waist down. A fan created an AI-generated image of the rapper sitting in a wheelchair.

Ford was on his way to an interview with DJ Vlad when he was taken into custody. Police say Ford is the gunman who shot and wounded NBA Ben10 and another drill rapper who attempted to snatch his gold chain at Confessions restaurant on April 8, 2026.

Officials say Ford stood over Ben10 and shot him in the neck. Ben10 is allegedly paralyzed from the waist down. He is still hospitalized in Houston.

According to federal documents, hospital officials told investigators Ben10 does not have feeling in his legs.

Ben10 shared this video from his hospital bed.

Ford and Ben10 exchanged DMs after the shooting. Ford allegedly asked Ben10 how he felt being left alone on the floor after being shot.

Ford wrote in a post: “Had To Shoot To The D And Get New Ice Cuz My Mans Ben 10 Took Some Of My Stuff To The Hospital With Him #JRClosedTheElevatorOnRon #OG3LeftThemN****s #AllThatPlaying.”

In response, Ben10 accused Ford of self-snitching.

He wrote in a post: “You telling the story fa the police. YALL LITERALLY GETTING ALL INFORMATION FROM HIM. It’s SO MUCH I WANT TO SAY, but I’m real and they got real street (ninja emoji) watching me, I refuse to LET US DOWN.”

Another rapper, Deadend Ron, was also shot at the restaurant. A doctor amputated one of his fingers. He is recovering from his injuries.
