Bobbi Kristina to honor Whitney during Billboard Music Awards
Bobbi Kristina will take part in a tribute to honor her mother Whitney Houston during the upcoming 2012 Billboard Music Awards.
The program, which airs Sunday at 8/7c, will feature a musical tribute, and Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is scheduled to participate. As you know, Bobbi Kristina is working on an upcoming album and she will likely perform one of her mother’s hit songs during the tribute.
Bobbi Kristina, who reportedly dropped her father’s last name, will also appear in a reality show on Lifetime network featuring members of the Houston family including Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston.
Whitney passed away on February 11 of a drug overdose and heart disease.

I also believe that she was keenly aware of everything that went on with her parents’ marriage – but that’s because I believe Whitney was trying to hard to be a FRIEND with her doorter than she was a mother.
It’s possible that she didn’t want anything to do with him because, like most children, they side with their mother when the father is a cheater. That, in addition to the fact that it’s possible that, in her mind, she attributed her mother’s issues to the fact that her husband was cheating. Maybe, like everyone else, she wanted ANYONE to blame other than Whitney Houston.
If Bobby Brown hasn’t spoken to his ADULT doorter, and couldn’t get in contact with her in the wake of her mother’s death – it’s because Bobbi KRISTINA didn’t WANT to talk to him! She has a cell phone, if they had a relationship, he would have that number.
If she was 9, the Houston’s could keep him away… at 19, NOBODY can stop that bus.

The Usher/Tameka custody battle has gotten even messier. Apparently we missed a few juicy tidbits from the courtroom proceedings last week. Fortunately HipHopEnquirer had the full rundown, including how a marriage counselor testified that Tameka told him Ush got his “Climax” on with two of her bridesmaids:
Just before the trial concluded on Friday, Attorney Lisa West called to the stand Marriage Therapist Sola Winley who gave direct testimony as to why he believed Tameka Raymond was under a great deal of stress. One of the things that stood out in his testimony was the fact that Tameka told him that Usher had slept with two of her bridesmaids. This revelation apparently didn’t go well with Usher as he stormed out the courtroom during a recess mumbling the words, “Now I am sleeping with her bridesmaids?”
Would it surprise you if Ush had hit off a few of Tameka’s friends/bridesmaids?
That wasn’t the only damaging evidence presented in the courtroom. Former nannies threw both Ush and Tameka under the bus with details about how much they loved the kids but couldn’t deal with the horrible parenting going on.
Nanny Jenny Silva said her interactions with Usher were “not good” and her interaction with Tameka were “terrible”. Ironically Ush testified that he was willing to pay for Silva because he wanted insurance that someone would be with the children at all times because he knew Tameka might be away or not attentive. He cited two instances, one of which was Tameka leaving the house saying she was going to the movies, but being gone for 2-3 days leaving the children with Silva. Silva allegedly had many run-ins with Tameka regarding her lack of parenting, leaving for extended periods of time and not having food in the house.
“She (Jenny Silva) was more of a parent to the children than Tameka was at the time,” said Usher. Another issue was Tameka using Silva to care of all four children when she was only hired to care for Cinco and Nayvid.
Usher estimated the former couple went through 11 nannies since their divorce.
Another nanny Jackie Martin contacted court appointed guardian Dan Bloom via email regarding her fears about the adverse effect the inconsistent schedules were having on the boys. She claimed that after returning from visiting Usher the boys used profanity like “Holy sh*t.” She also reportedly expressed her frustration with Tameka and concern for the kids if she quit. Martin also shared a story about a Miami trip where she was forced to stay in the car with one of the boys for over an hour while Tameka, the other son and a friend with to a Miami Heat game because they didn’t have enough tickets.
SMH. This sounds like a damn shame, but they definitely need to be in court if they haven’t gotten it together by now.

@Choco I trust Tameka more than Usher cause she at least says what she feels when she feels it. Usher seems the type to only reveal what feelings/emotions he can twist around. Plus that nanny is probably being paid an exorbitant fee already so why add on to it? Usher may have intended that money for only his boys but when you marry a person with kids you can’t mandate that every dime you pay in child support/expenses is only going to the products of your sperm. That money goes to the household. How do you have half the household living the life of luxury while the other is hanging back in middle class? What man thinks that’s okay? It’s not like he can’t afford it either

Phro yeah but alot of women, I know alot of them personally, will do everything under the sun to keep a man from their kids as a punishment to the man. Up until the point that they go to court and then they still find a way to fault the man. Plus I know alot of great fathers with ratchet baby mamas who will dog them out, spend child support checks on shoes, take them to court if they’re 5 minutes late picking up the kid, won’t answer the phone so they can speak to the kids, and on and on and on who no matter what they do, can not get closer to their children. Or every time that they gain an inch, chick gets mad and snatches back their inch and then another couple inches just because. My husband is a worthless deadbeat who deserves being kept from his children (which I’m not even really doing cause he could see them just not w/o my supervision cause he’s a drugged out mental case) but some of these guys just get a bad rap because courts and public opinion usually side with the mother even when she ain’t about ish

@ KDub…Don’t do that. I remember once when I was about 20, had just gotten my own place and my aunt asked me to babysit her 3 kids while she went to the movies one Friday. Dropped they lil asses off promptly at 6PM.
I SWEATERGAWD, it was about 3-4PM that Sunday before I heard from or saw her ass again. Talking about she didn’t wanna wake them or me up that late on Friday.

I don’t babysit as it is cause I’ve already got enough kids in my house and if I do break my rule and watch your kids and you don’t come get them at the predesignated time it will NEVER happen again. And the quality of Ms. E’s daycare diminishes for every hour you’re late, so if you walk in a day later you might just find your child rocking in a corner, crying, in the same clothes you dropped him off in, talking about “she’s mean don’t bring me here no more”
