BREAKING: Zimmerman Released On $1 Million Bond
Moments ago, a judge in Seminole County granted George Zimmerman a new bond for the 2nd time. The new bond is for $1 million which will require Zimmerman to pay $100,000 to walk out of jail as early as today.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the judge imposed new conditions on Zimmerman’s bond. Zimmerman can’t have a bank account (but his wife can), he can’t open a new bank account, he must wear a GPS monitor, and he has 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.
Zimmerman has collected over $300,000 in public donations. That gives him $200,000 to live “a good life,” as he was overheard telling his wife Sheliie during a recorded jailhouse phone call in April.

It was what he was trained to do – save a life. But instead of earning praise from his employer, Tomas Lopez got a pink slip.
“It was the moral thing to do. I would never pick a job over my morals,” Lopez, 21, told South Florida’s Sun-Sentinel after he went outside his beach’s protected area to rescue a drowning man on Monday – and was later fired for doing so.
“I didn’t think about it at all,” Lopez said. “Someone needed my help. I wasn’t going to say no.”
After tending to the man, who was taken to hospital with water in his lungs, Lopez filled out an incident report, and was fired for leaving the protected area of the beach – ostensibly because of liability issues, as swimmers there could have gotten into trouble.
“They didn’t tell me in a bad way. It was more like they were sorry, but rules are rules,” said Lopez. “I couldn’t believe what was happening.”
Other lifeguards, however, reportedly watched the protected area while Lopez was down the beach. And the incident has now prompted a review of whether the lifeguard company, Jeff Ellis Management, was justified in firing Lopez.
“If we find our actions on the part of the leadership team were inappropriate, we will rectify it based upon the information that comes forward,” said company owner Jeff Ellis.

as i am about the situation…$1m bond is fair..there are murderers walking my streets for less..i would of made them forfiet over the donations(is that legal) or set Bond to 3mil so they had to use tho donated amount to keep him free…His Lawyers are gonna do the case Pro Bono in attempts to make a name for themselves…so lawyer fees arnt gonna be a problem.
This is heartbreaking…. smh. Makes no sense at all how any part of this trial is going to be fair…not for Trayvon(RIP lil man) and not fair how Zimmerman is shucking and jiving his way out of punishment for a crime he committed out of pure HATE.
