Reality TV stars Tameka Harris and her sidekick Shekinah Jo stopped by the set of The Real to promote their spin-off reality TV show, Tiny & Shekinah’s Weave Trip. The show is popular in the ratings — not surprisingly due to the fact that black women of all ages wear hair weave to cover their own African hair.
In Tiny & Shekinah’s Weave Trip, the ladies take a custom mobile salon on the road where they encounter busted women in dire need of hair weave therapy. Shekinah is an accomplished celebrity weaveologist, while Tameka provides the star power.
In this segment, the ladies are tied together and then instructed to perform common household chores such as fold laundry.

I prefer wigs with closures. They aren’t itch if they real and you moisturize your hair underneath. I had marley twists this summer, dud box braids. Now I got a kinky curly wig I made. It’s all about protective styles. I wear my own hair out too. I love that our hair is so versatile.

I hate the way China Glaze goes on. OPI is good the first few times I use it, after that it tends to get choppy when putting it on. I just said fugg it and switched over to Essie. I’ve become a huge fan of theirs. Now I’m trying to find another fast drying top coat. Seche Vite was my go to. But it’s too easy for me to peel off. I’m trying out Poshe’ top coat. SO far good
I love that our hair is so versatile.
