People are tired of rapper Nicki Minaj whining about her music video “Anaconda” not making the cut when MTV handed out VMA nominations.
Leave it to Nicki to pull the race card instead of accepting the fact that “Anaconda” just wasn’t good enough to be nominated.
“If I was a different “kind” of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well,” she tweeted.
She added:
“When the “other” girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination.”
But she didn’t stop there: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” she whined.
And if that wasn’t enough, Nicki name dropped superstars such as Beyonce and Ellen Degeneres.
But one bold name superstar was offended by Nicki using the race card when she does’t get her way.
Taylor Swift got Nicki together with one tweet:
“@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..,” she tweeted.
A stunned Nicki tried to play dumb as if she wasn’t referring to Taylor with her tweets about “others”: “Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13”
Nicki added, “@taylorswift13 I’m still confused as to why u just tweeted me when I made it abundantly clear..”
Yes, Nicki, you made it abundantly clear that you are a narcissist who can’t take rejection.
Nicki continued to show her ignorance when the media reported correctly that she taking shots at Taykor, “Nothing I said had to do with Taylor. So what jabs? White media and their tactics. So sad. That’s what they want.”
Nicki is just as bad as director Lee Daniels bitching about Empire’s lack of Emmy nominations. Neither of these clowns could care less if a black awards show didn’t nominate them.
When will black people stop looking for validation from others? It’s embarrassing.
Do better, Nicki!
UPDATE: Instagram.com jumped into the fray by blocking the #TaylorSwift hashtag.
