So I’m watching this cute video of Beyonce‘s little sister Solange Knowles and her son Julez dancing, when it suddenly dawns on me who Kelly Rowland‘s character in Empire was inspired by.
The similarities are striking. Both Rowland’s character and Solange are singers from musical dynasties who have diagnosed mental issues. They both have mixed race sons with good hair who struggle to cope with their mothers’ mental issues while protecting them from outsiders.
That’s a tall menu for any child. Life can’t be easy for Julez. I wonder if he watches Empire and sees himself in young Lucious Lyon?

Astonishingly beautiful and rare! I’ve had a friend who is a lovely dark complected girl her eyes were an extremely dark blue almost missable but once you stare in you see them and she had long hair. I think she might have had Indian in her either Asian or Native American but her siblings didn’t inherit her eyes just hair.
Lolzzzz! In my culture if the baby comes out looking more like one parent than the other it meant that one loved the other more!

I know right? It’s a ignorant assumption if you ask me she had that long hair even as a tot it was already down to her shoulders, we grew up together. As kids we loved to play with eachothers hair, she loved my wavy Asian hair I loved her soft tresses, her mama always kept on top of that hair too lol. When she sat in the sun her dark blue almost black looking eyes turn a fiery sapphire which I know had many a boy were hypnotized. He’ll even me I wish I had her gorgeous eyes.

I’m still friends with my girls since elementary & middle school. Where I live we have a lot of native Americans. My one friends is chocolate brown with light brown eyes & hair down her back. So you’re more than likely right.
& I use to date Asian guys Lol, so I know about how beautiful the faces of Asian women & men are.
You’re just like me you admire people’s beauty and can appreciate it. We have too many low self esteemed kids these days and there is no harm that can come toward you for bringing them positivity and kind words. Oooh girl you are so open minded I love it, Asian men are one of natures most overlooked untapped resources lol. Girl when they are fine they are so stunning you gotta look away and they got money $$$$$$ they know how to treat a woman.
